Now i know alot of you have your opinions on him but for once and for all i would like to know who believes that he (when 100% no bringing up his problems) could be Mr. Olympia. Blockhead seriously no more "recreated" CC phone calls just a honest answer to "Do you think Cormier could be Mr. O".
I Vote YES 8)

Given the right combo Cormier could outright beat Ronnie . He's that good .
-
But he won't because he doesn't care any more. I think he has given up on being a competitive pro bb. It really isn't worth it for him. The times when he is at his best, he gets screwed any way. So why try?
-
Chris is ( was ) one of the strongest Pros , with a Coleman type focus he would be unstopable .

Yes.............

At one time he had a shot, but that time is past.

I don't think so. You always learn more and there is always time for improvments. I think Chris has always had a shot.

I wish, but no..

Do i think he will.................... ...................no

i too believe his time has passed

i too believe his time has passed
I really hope not.

Nope. He was almost to that level, but not quite. And he'll be 39 this year with something like 24 years of contests behind him. He won't be getting better. He never even won an Arnold (though he probably should've), and it's another big leap from there to the O. Just ask Arnold winners like Jay, Flex, Dexter, Nasser, Shawn, etc.

too perfect to win O,,very proprtional, very symetric, not too big not too small, no outstanding, uniqe looking, extra ordinary muscle group,, too old by the time the ron the beast retires. couldnt cant and wont
-
Yes.
But from what I understand. He's had persoal probs.I dont know him so I really cant say.
He might have one in him.But the clock is ticking "FAST" for him.
I'm not a big fan of BBng.I care about my own progress. But with the half assed eye I keep on it.
(Reading MD while on the pot)
It'd be cool.

Yeah at a point Ronnie has leaped by light years in terms of conditioning and muscle development. Sometimes you learn to much and try to apply too heavily and end up confusing things, keep it simple stupid. Chris knew his body after only a few contests there was no real reason to change he burnts out because of the lifestlye, not the life
-
NO

He makes Ronnie look all mis-shapen and fucked up.
-
Ok thats why he got 3rd ::)

If Ronnie weren't the incumbent in 99, Ronnie would have placed third behind Cormier and Flex

The Mr.O is like an obssessed woman. They act like the guy they're with is the best of all time and that no one else can compare, even if in reality those other guys are better. They only look at other guys when their guy has left them.
-
he can't even win the arnold.. of course he'll never be Mr. O...
-
Oh he's not done with, he still has alot and even more progress can be made.
But it's hurting him, mentally then it turns physically. He gets off track and then shit happens and no ones really there to get him back on track. Chris is the guy that people look to but then he has no one to look to

-
I actually thought he was already in England training for a few weeks already. I thought I had heard that. Damn.

Forget it - he's washed up. 5 years ago maybe when his body responded despite only giving BB 50%. Hes not suddenly going to start geting 'the eye of the tiger' and his body at his age is starting to shut down.
Hey, you may not like it but just telling it the way it is. Doz is wasting his time.
-
No. Not with Ronnie and Jay still around :-*

I believe the question is 'do you think Cormier could be Mr O? Not did he Win a show and a few second places a couple years ago.
If you think he is going to get his shit together and win it you must be dreaming. It aint gonna happan.
Well it's obivous you havn't been around......... this has all been dicussed in a recent thread, this is here to cut out all the bull and get straight to the point.

If ROnnie pulled out with a last minute injury and Cormier showed up in lifetime shape, I believe Cormier could take it...
....right behind Cutler.

I think his chances came and went. :-X
