Title: Low-Carb Isopure Expiration Question
Post by: Tre on July 17, 2006, 08:59:49 AM

We've got a big tub of Isopure powder with an expiration date of June '04.  What exactly has 'expired' in this product?  Has the protein broken down or something?  I'm assuming that it's safe to drink, but will it have any effectiveness?

Thanks in advance.

If it has been closed the whole time it should be fine but if it was opened, or in humid/hot weather then it may have turned.  Check and see if there is mold or smells funny, if you are unsure try a little to see how it affects you.  Normally products will last a long time after those expiration dates if they haven't been opened and exposed to air.
