Title: Do you eat fresh chicken or Chicken-in-a-Bag

I buy 2.5lb chicken tenderloins bags for $4.99 a bag.

Is the quality of the protein less than fresh chicken?   ???

I used to buy the Sam's club chicken in the bag, but now I buy almost all freash, I do notice a difference in taste, quality. Its not much but I think its because the lack of phosphate broth/preservatives they add to the frozen in a bag kind.

Either way you'll get cancer from the black grill residue long before anything in the chicken catches up to you  ;D

I buy the frozen chicken-in-a-bag because it's cheap and convenient.  But the downside is the sodium - it's much higher in salt than fresh chicken.  It probably won't cause cancer, but it might contribute to high blood pressure.

Purdue just came out with these convenient fresh marinated packs.  Great on the Foreman.  So far the price has been the same as reg. fresh, boneless, skinless in the family pack.
