Man charged with possessing and distributing steroids

A month-long investigation has led to the arrest of a Schenectady man for possessing and distributing steroids.

Eric Rosa, 39, was arrested at his Jackson Avenue home Monday afternoon.

Police said $4,683 in cash, a computer and anabolic steroids in the form of liquid, pills and cream were seized during a search of his home.

Rosa is charged with fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and first-degree reckless endangerment.

Rosa was arraigned and sent to the Schenectady County Jail.

The joint-investigation was conducted by the Schenectady Police Department's Vice Squad and the state Bureau of Narcotics Enforcement.

why does this poor fella have to take the hit?  he's an unsung hero.  without guys like him, there's no professional bodybuilding.

pardon my ignorance...but where is jackson ave. in schackenbacon county..or whatever the fuck it is? what state was this bust?

It looks like  his picture was on the news where thousands beyond thousands can view.. not too sure its a big issue posting it on getbig.. its public domain anywayz...

my point before i had to comment on that is, it sucks having to do  hard time for doing/selling roids..  It may not be the best thing for you to do, but its sure not like crack or speed, give me a f*cking break..

i posted the article cause many people here do dabble in that area, and his regulars should know- this way the DEA cannot keep making busts off his connects.  It wasn't a diss against him- I think the war on drugs is a sham anyway.  It was looking out for the online Bbing community.
