Title: Why was Markus Ruhl DQ'd in 1999 ???

I'm curious as to why the Big Ruhl was disqualified from the 1999 Mr. Olympia. It didn't look like diuretics wre banned that year, so what gives?

I guess I'll chuck this out to our resident contest expert Mr. Fogarty

he was too big to fit on that revolving thing that puts them on the stage

i think he tested positive for a banned diuretic...me thinks..

and why did he not just sue the like Jay ?
