Yeah my parents are liek that, I had bought creatine and lipo 6 from bb.com and they found it and tried to send it back with a letter telling bb.com how they suck because they sold it to a 16 year old wtf? they just go by whats on the bottle like not intended for anyone under 18. bullshit, but now i got hydroxycut hardcore and anavol, im doing good now. except they wont buy it, i have to buy it. but my pops finally learned that i have a passion for nutrition now he takes me to the commisary and lets me buy whatever food i need.
When I was 16 my dad found my Dianabol and Anavar and flushed them down the toilet...how's that for the kicker!

save your money. most supplements are worthless. at your age and in the next few years, you'll have plenty of natural testosterone. the only supplements you need are a multi-vitamin, plenty of protein (real food is fine, protein powders are just a form of fast food), and oils high in essential fatty acids (such as flax seed oil, 2-3 tablespoons a day).

Your parents did the right thing, at least with the Lipo 6. Fat-burners, in general, aren't sold to minors for a reason: They can be dangerous, especially if used by youngsters who don't know what they're doing (even if they're under the impression that they do). It's easy to blast your parents, because you think they're being bodybuilding "buzz-killers". But, it's a whole different ballgame when you're the parent and you have to care for teenagers, who naturally think they know it all.
It's irresponsible use (and easy purchase) of fat-burners that partially got ephedra/ma huang banned in the first place. Even if these newer fat-burners are safer and nearly as effective, all it takes is a handful of careless folks, injuring themselves by misusing such products to start the proverbial "witch-hunt" on dietary supplements, again.

When I was 16...I used to play baseball in highschool and I was such a mindless spineless automaton...I used deca sporadically like...one shot every like...12-15 days when I remembered and then I tried to kill myself by hanging then my dad found the bottle of deca by QV...so now he is on a neverending campaign to take down QV and the distribution of steroids in general because deca is the reason why I tried hanging myself.

I've always found this argument to be weak: the one which states that natural test levels are high at a younger age, so supplements are not necessary. In reality, pros dose with many, many times what their testsoterone was at age 18. It's not as though the effective dose of testosterone for muscle enhancement puts you where you were at age 18 - unless you are talking about strict HRT. Also, the only similarity between protein and fast food is that it is fast. That is not to say it is junky, although I'm not sure if that is what you meant. Of course, there are some chemical fillers in some protein powders so whole foods are preferred - at least to me. Then again, whole foods have their share of chemicals too.
A better argument for not using steroids would be the "build a natural base first" argument.
The earlier AAS are used, the more potential for harm there is. During puberty the whole body is changing its 'state', hormones included. Messing with hormone levels can have dramatic effects. (stunted growth as a well known example)

when the truth comes out about creatine really messing with your kidney's, you will realise that your better off just using the real McCoy
