Post by: Dball on July 27, 2006, 04:54:49 PM: i had the honor to meet jay cutler in austin this last weekend at the texas school for the deaf where he will be appearing in early august. i have to say, he looks damn amazing. i got to see ronnie a few weeks ago and he is certianly huge, as always, but his arms are nowhere near the size they used to be and it looks like that affected his delts and chest. jay looks the best i have ever seen anybodybuilder this far out from the olympia. he was probably only about 10% bodyfat. in fact, it looked like the contest was like three weeks ago, instead of two months from now. you could see the striations in his triceps!! his back was amazing and wide as hell. i have never seen anything like it. i am a ronnie fan, but he looked like crap, for him (which is still pretty damn good). i think this year might be his last and jay's first sandow.

Doubtful, very doubtful. The last time a reigning Mr. Olympia lost at the Mr. Olympia was way back in 1984 with Lee Haney beating Samir Bannout. Don't see it happening this year. Sorry.

I mean, he doesn't seem stupid to me. Surely he's Gotten It by now. But if he was honest enough to say "No, they'll never let me win the Olympia while Ronnie is competing - but there's a good check for 2nd place and it keeps my sponsors happy", would he sell as many DVDs to guys like you?

I'm just sayin'. :-\

Post by: Dball on July 27, 2006, 05:07:24 PM: again, i just call it like i see it. ronnie wants to come in this year at over 300lbs, i heard him say so himself "this year i will be over 300lbs, asthetic and symetrical. no other bodybuilder could do that and not have a gut, but i dont". his words, not mine. the last time he tried that he almost got beaten. and i'm telling you, jay looks amazing. it will be a great show, that is for sure. but if jay takes it, i wont be surprised.

I agree....too much oil damaged Jay's shoulders and arms. Dex and maybe others will beat Jay.
