This guy is pretty impressive for being in his 40's. Didn't he compete aginst Dillet in 1991?

Holds up really well against two of the guys ahead of him:

The back's not bad, really only hurt by poor lat insertion:

Again, not bad, I'd place him 2nd here:

Really just needs to improve his legs and arms.

GREAT PHYSIQUE!
One of my favorites.
Back in 1989 I placed 2nd and Rodney 3rd at the Orange County Muscle Classic - and I was sure that he would turn pro faster than me.
Well, he waited a long time - but watch for him on the pro stage...He will do some damage!

Milos, when i saw him against Dillet i thought he'd be pro within a year too. Any idea what's held him back?

that's it? well that should be easy.

i wish him well.

He won the runner-up at the Masters Nationals this year, which qualifies him for an IFBB pro card. He went ahead & did the USA the next week anyway.
Here's a pic we got of him at the Masters Nats this year.

Judging by the PDI "article" in ESPN, he fits their new guidelines perfectly.
-
good waist.
good waste.

I have spoke with Rodney on a few occasions and what a nice guy! His good ole buddy Delino "natural" Dixon introduced me a few years ago and he was always cool to me. Dude looks freaky in person! Muscle just kinda hangs off him when he walks!

Did you ask him why he took off so many years from competing?

Don't they all? His waist is great! :o

Next time i'm at Golds i'll ask him. Years ago he only competed for fun with a small desire to turn pro but that could have changed in the last 5 or so years since I have spoke with him. I can tell you this...Rodney is a genetic freak! I would venture to say that his genetics are at the top 10% in the business! Look at his waist line and you'll know what I mean. Not too many guys with a waist like that which means he probably doesn't take a lot of what everyone else does to put on mass which means for him to carry the mass that he does is amazing!

I'll try to find out this week, that will give me a reason to resume training again back at Golds! He normally trained at about 4 or 5 in the evening so should be easy to track him down. Good thing he's cool or I wouldn't approach him. I wish I could say the same for some other pro's that live in Vegas!

From what I have seen, his legs aren't in the same league as his upperbody. Impressive physique none the less.

BB needs a lot more physiques like that. Interesting that most of the ones we're seeing today like Rodney's are physiques of older guys from the past. Hmmm...
