Given the new travel restrictions today, I can forget about RTD protein shakes on planes. It's too bad, because it was the easiest way to meet my protein quota on a 4+ hour flight.

Will they allow the powder and then you can just mix it with the water they provide?

Good question. There is no formal written guideline yet, which typically takes about 4 weeks. For now, it only applies to liquids and gells (although reports indicate that inspectors have also taken items such as mascara and lip gloss). I'm not so sure that a protein in a powder form would be allowed, given that many lethal substances can be transported in powder form (e.g. anthrax).
In my view, there is a significant chance that carry on luggage will be banned altogether as the process of hand searching every bag for liquids and gells may be too burdensome to work. Stay tuned.

oh man thats bad. what about a bottle of water?

I'm sure they'll give you two, after that be prepared to pay...

this was my concern also as I watched the news today (protein shakes on long flights, carry on luggage to bring food, etc...) I'm sure that the suppliment company's are creating a "meal replacement pill" right now.

Meal replacement pills cannot work.
Why don't you guys just take BCAA instead, it works fine on longer flights, and is convenient too, even more than a shake.
But anyways, these Terrorist shit suck. These fuckers ruin eveything in the long run. :-X

I fly every week and many times more than 4 hours. But the main point is every time the terrorists take away another piece of how we live, no matter how small, they win.

Make a petition for Mr. Blair, Bush and Putin to nuke the fuck out of the middle east and the muzzie holy sites... problem solved.
Until then stop your fucking moaning and get a job that doesn't require you to do so much air time...
