Title: Best Haircut in Bodybuilding
Post by: nzmusclemonster on August 10, 2006, 11:39:28 PM
The trend of short hair these days is so boring.... Perhaps it could be a way for bodybuilding to get more mainstream to make their haircuts cooler.

The best in my opinion were the Dorian mullet
And Arnold was always fashionable
Mentzer had his own style as well

That's where Alexx gets his inspiration from.

Yeah, those haircuts helped give their physiques that classic, god-like look they have. We've really drifted from that look with guys like Lee Priest stepping on stage with multiple tattoos all over his body and face (not knocking tats at all I think it really displays the bodybuilder's personality behind the muscles in a way).

Agreed...  With the short haircuts today it just looks like a bunch of cyborgs standing next to each other on stage.
A good haircut can give a bodybuilder distinction and add to the appeal of his physique.

Arnold even has a short chapter on hair and it's effects on the presentation of your physique.

All kidding aside, this is what I use in my hair to "tame" it.  Unlike like gel, it doesn't dry hard.  Good stuff for all you hair conscius metros...

Hairstyles weren't so overly-coiffed in the old daze, nor was the tan so damn fake; the whole look was natural vs. too-worked on as they all look now. This is a large part of why they all look alike now..

The whole presentation looked a lot more natural and individualistic vs. artificial now.

I've used that - but too greasy for my taste...  I use Ice Glue by Joico all the time.  It holds like a MF and is even water resistant (which is awesome for places where it's humid or those sweaty clubs  :D ).  Believe it or not, caffiene is an ingredient in this product...

2014 DANA LINN BAILEY OLYMPIA POSING SUIT | EBAY FOR CHARITY
January 02, 2015

I started working with Tamee Marie 2 years ago. She has both my 2013 and 2014 Olympia suits. We decided together that we would auction off the suit on Ebay and donate all proceeds to a charity of my choice. If you know me, you know I LOVE my pit bulls!! Both my little Angels, Kaia and Dboh, were rescued from abusive and neglectful homes.  I am choosing to donate all the money to New York Bully Crew rescue. I have been follow @newyorkbullycrew on instagram for awhile now. They are a nonprofit organization based out of Long Island, but outreach for them is nationwide.  NYBC is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and finding FURever homes for all rescued pups. NYBC turns no dog away and they continuously have hugeeeeee vet bills from the pups they rescued that have been absuive, neglected, or fought. So this is my way (and your way) of helping.

Suit will be up for auction starting Monday, January 5th and will be posted for 5 days. I will post the ebay link on Facebook Monday.

For more information on competition suits for sale or rent by Tamee Marie: www.tameemarie.webs.com

For more info and where to donate:

no dude, not till you put up a current pic of yourself, so we can see how the gollum is back has progressed from his championship days. have you ever thought of selling autographed pics of yourself on here, i'll bet you'd clean up with all your fans. raffle off a soiled thong and sales would go through the roof.

you got me wrong. i'm just kidding you it's something we humans do. i would like to see your current condition not to ridicule you just to ascertain how you've changed in five years. don't take yourself so seriously, i don't, meaning me. my life changed for the better or worse when i got a barbell set at age 8 and followed the teaching included with the set.
