Steve is 21 years old and Flex is 22 years old. Both have great physiques. IMO Steve has a more balance and pleasing physique. And Flex has more mass and size, but its not well balanced. They both are jacked up! at such a young age it's crazy!
Discuss.
-
neither of those guys will ever turn pro or if they do, they will not do a thing in the pro ranks.
-
I "think" steve is only 20, that's pretty damn young to be winning an open class and an over all. I like Flex, he seems like he's a good guy from what I have read.
neither of those guys will ever turn pro or if they do, they will not do a thing in the pro ranks.
I'll disagree, I think they both have a good shot at being a pro.....why do you think otherwise? I'd like to know your logic behind that statement.
-
look at the current top 5 or even top 10 in the pro ranks,,,those guys are MONSTERS,,,Flex Louis and Steve are babies compared to the Giants
-
Jay Cutler was 26 and Phil Heath was 26 when they turned pro and they are light years ahead of those guys when they turned pro
-
legs comparison
-
abs thigh comparison
-
Flex is more developed, partly due to being in the game longer.
-
To me it looks like Steve is just using steroids, and Flex could be using steroids, GH and insulin. As you can see Flex's midsection is much thicker then steve's.
-
it's refreshing to actually see some guys with good calf development...it completes the physique. With our current Mr. Olympia having no calves it's almost as if they have become unimportant :-\
-

I think Steve has been competing just as long as Flex has?
-
I think Steve has been competing just as long as Flex has?
Flex has been juicing longer, wasn't Steve a natty before?
-
It sucks that we can't know what these guys would look like off gear. I want to see how these guys (or any bodybuilders for that matter) would fare without gear. That would be inspiration to me, even if they are much smaller.
take about 40lbs of muscle of there frames and that should give u an idea of what they would look like.
-
Flex has been juicing longer, wasn't Steve a natty before?
yeh i guess he was natty from what i herd maybe like a year ago.? So how long do you think flex has been juicing? Since 18?
-
.
-

Is that a fact? ::)
-
I remember seeing a bunch of photos of him on Muscle Mayhem. He looked very big before taking steroids. Something like 220 lb with abs and intercostals. His arms looked to be around 18".
-
he competed at 219lbs at 6ft at only 19 years old.(according to repetrope.com)
Steve Reeves was 6 1" 215lbs and not as lean as Kuclo.
-
These guys juicing so young is nuts. It's not like they are just starting now - they have been for quite a while (even when their bodies were at their natural test level highs). Why?
-
I think the Kuclo dude is genetically head and shoulders better than Louis. In time he will surpass him.
-
I don't understand this argument. People always say that young guys shouldn't juice because their test is at its peak. Well when they turn 23 and start juicing they end up being on 10 times the test they were on even at their peak. It's not like a male's natural test peak is anything close to what bodybuilders use for an anabolic effect.
There are more sound reasons for not juicing at a young age: hormonal manipulation at that age is bad and may result in some long term problems and closing of the growth plates is a real thing.
The argument "your test is high already" is a silly argument. Nobody goes on juice to get their levels back to what they were at age 18 - they use much more juice than that.
I understand what you are saying - and I think we agree actually. The point I was really trying to make is that why start so young - especially when other things can go wrong (it's not like they can't build great muscle with their peak test levels anyway, so why add the drugs so young...).
It's almost like they are trying to do too much too quickly. I just don't see why any teen cannot keep lifting into their early 20s without making good gains - then start the juice perhaps. Why burn out the receptors if you can make the gains anyway (and why put their young organs through the tough orals...).
Just seems to me that if you can make gains naturally, why start so early? (Just to keep up with the Jonses?)
-
flex's calfs and forarms are better than most pros- his calfs are seriously insane- but structurly I think that steve kid is better-
-
I think Flex started the juice much earlier and is doing heavier dosages at this point. I think Steve will make some major gains in the near future. I see him going much further than Lewis. Much better structure.
-
both will get the pro card since both are very young. the steve kid will be be top contender in O within 10 years
-
I would go with Flex. Seeing he has Milos as his advisor, you know his gear is far more dialed.
-
gh15,,,how much crack have you smoked tonight?
-
Both look great!
Totally agree often kids use supps way too young and its not good. As I said in a previous post, all contests with contestants 21 and under should be tested. Too many resons to list.
-
Flex is too drug dependant . . . his viens are burstin in his forearms but no muscle to him...quality muscle anyways..
-
Steve Kuclo is more pleasing
-
Kuclo. Jimmy Lewis should lay off the slin and gh...looks like he is tap dancing with palumboism within the next 3 years.
-
In my opinion Flex looked a lot better when he first started out! Much more pleasing anyways. Good luck to the both of them. Both look awesome!
-
its been said before, but Steve has the better shape, but Flex has more size and conditioning
I'm concerned about Flex though - he looks like he's doing more than just a standard mass stack. I hope Milos doesn't have him doing anything too crazy
I always considered slin+gh something to use after YEARS of using plain anabolic steroids - something to take your physique to that next level. Too much too soon will ruin a physique :-\
-
How many pros are successfully competing today with a back as lacking as Lewis'? It is positively Strydom-esque. Also Steve is roughly 8" taller than Lewis and as a result will probably take longer to fill out but look much more impressive on stage when compared to others when he does. Short guys, no matter how good they look alone, always look kind of silly when beside an equally complete tall bodybuilder. Does anyone remember that picture of Lee and Gunter on stage together?
-
I think we all know that both of these guys are good, and dedicated big statement at that age
-
they both have great genetics, but using that much that young, they will eventually burn out probably in their late 20's. the time when most should be hitting their peak.
-
To me flex needs to be careful with his waist, he's short enough as it is, he does not need to play the size game right now. He will just get blocky, as for his back, there's not much he can do about it, if he does not have a good back at 22 years of age, he never well, its just his genetics. All he can do is thicken it up and add more detail to it. His legs our his key points, but has to bring up his chest, arms and back to match is legs.. He's going all out, to try and be # 1, alot of guys will do what it takes at all cost to be #1. Alot guys burn out in the process, again look at Ronnie, he did not start going hard on drugs until his mid 30's.. Now look at him, but i guess he has freaky genetics to his advantage. I don't know why some guys our in such a hurry to be # 1 at such a young age? I doubt there will ever be a Mr O champ in there early to mid 20's.. You peak in your 30's anyways, so save all the hardcore drug usage tell then, and let your body grow noramlly through your 20's.. Just my 2 cents.

::)
This picture was taken a few days after my 21th birthday in 2004. I was 180 lbs and I won the Hungarian Overall title. This October I'll be around 210 on stage (at 5'7")...
-
Steve Namat can kick both of their asses.
hope he does well in the Czech repulic in October
-
There was a big doping scandal (between the Hungarian Bodybuilding Federation and the Ministry of Sports with the WADA) in Hungary, in April. So we (hungarian athletes) can't go to the Worlds... >:(
My goal was to win the title in the under 100 kg category. And I think it was a realistic goal! But this is Hungary...full of bullshit.
But I continue my contest preparation and I will be on stage this year! Hopefully I'll compete at an amateur IFBB/NPC contest in Calfornia...

do you have dream tan on there? Sometimes I think that stuff looks pretty cool and that's one of the shots where it does.
-
Yes, it was Dream Tan. But I hated it. But at that time there wasn't any available Pro Tan in Hungary

Get off the drugs Steve and prolong your health; keep your physique longer too.

Steve gives the impression of wanting to play the no holds barred mass monster game. Here he is at 280 lbs in the past offseason.
-
Steve's highest offseason weight thus far has been 283 from what I read. Can you imagine within a year or so he will be a lean 300 at 6'0? What a monster. I just don't get why he would want a body like that though. On one hand I can say he looks great, but his drive for more makes me think he is ultimately not satisfied where he is.
he's a bodybuilder, body.................... ....builder.
-
he's a bodybuilder, body.................... ....builder.
couldn't a said it any better bro.
-
Yeah and unlike the overwhelming majority of pros, Steve isn't one or more of the following:
1. Ugly.
2. Short.
3. Bald.
4. Dumb.
I can see why some of these pros become pros. A lot of extreme sports are driven by insecurity and the people who participate aren't exactly balanced but only really good at that one specific activity. Steve has potential in so many other areas that why on earth he would choose competitive bodybuilding is simply beyond me.
It's really not much different than a guy his age and of his ability becoming a coke addict. Competitive bodybuilding as we know it REQUIRES drug ABUSE (not use, not even close to just use, but ABUSE). Why someone of Steve's capacity would go down that road is just strange to me.
Don't you yourself bodybuild, run a bodybuilding website, have watched every bodybuilding dvd, have thousands of posts on bodybuilding boards, yet you cannot see why this guy would want to bodybuild?
-
I don't know steve even though he lives pretty close to where I am but he seems like he's set himself up pretty well. He's got a great prep guy, great trainer and he has his head on straight when it comes to this sport. He's big, in shape has good muscle shape and all the tools to be successful. I don't know for sure but I'd bet he's gonna be a pro before too long.
-
I like it in the same manner I like watching the bearded lady at an amusement park - freaky entertainment only
You spend a lot of your life on freaky bearded lady style entertainment.
Why arn't you running www.beardedladypro.com?
-
I in no way, shape, or form endorse professional bodybuilding as we know it as something an individual should actually participate in. I like it in the same manner I like watching the bearded lady at an amusement park - freaky entertainment only - but nothing I would encourage on anyone else.
I promote natural bodybuilding or even juiced bodybuilding if respect and moderation is given to these drugs. I don't even have a problem with any of my friends drinking or doing drugs every now and then - it is the people who I see (tons of people) who need to abuse drugs who I have no respect for.
I just find something morally difficult in promoting an activity that results in physical destruction of the individual. I can't do that, but to each their own I suppose.
Matt C, go to any gym at any big college like mine, and you will see frat boys who are big on steroids but don't really know what they're doing, and don't look nearly half as good as Kuclo. Add to that the fact that so many college kids drink insane amounts of alcohol 3 or more nights a week, and steroids don't seem so bad no more...

Maybe Steve could be the first bodybuilder to push a lean 400 lbs?
I sure hope so!!!

Both of these pigs suck.
-
If you want my opinion on this - and I'm sure I will get a lot of flak for it - I think that steroids, along with almost any drug, can definitely be moderated. I'm going to say that this applies to cocaine, ecstasy, marijuana, alcohol, LSD, magic mushrooms, and almost any other party drug or hallucinogenic drug out there...
I agree with Matt... I think Steroids should be legal under doctor's supervision. A guy has the right to control his body, just like women do. Then the mystique around steroids will dissolve, there will be less fake stuff going around, guys won't be so scared of the law and will be more open about it with their doctors, etc..
Just like the government can't force a woman to have a child, it also can't force a guy to be puny, but I digress...
-
Both of these pigs suck.
you're a very bitter, bitter man. You need to chill the fuck out. No one on here is more natural than me, trust me. I got sick when I was getting ready for my first show and had tons of problems with my liver and spleen so I couldn't do roids even if I wanted to so I'm at the same point you are. I don't get the anger. They do roids, BFD. It's about life choices and they made different ones than you have, you need to accept it and move on. If I got pissed at all the dudes that were bigger than me because of roids I'd have killed myself along time ago...trust me it ain't worth it, let it go.
Live and let live.

I was going to start a post about the psychology of THE TRUE ADONIS and why he is as bitter as he is. If I had to guess, he's just very, very angry with the Tom Princes and select other morons who inhabit musclemayhem. It's similar to a guy who has been jaded by a lot of girls so he now hates them all. How to change this? Meet people who do not meet the mold which makes him angry. Once Adam meets some juicers who actually do it with moderation (cycle it), and train hard with or without it, and have a generally positive attitude towards both juice and life in general, I'm sure he will realize that not all juicers as bad as Tom Prince. Adam: Tom IS a stereotype. You have to realize that before you throw everyone in the same boat.
Tom Prince is a fcuking idit, especially with his "natties sitting at the kiddies table" analogy.
But.
Why let something like that affect yourself? It will only consume you, and everyone else will start associate you with being someone who worries too much.
It's sort of funny though. TA has made Bast his bitch beyond comprehension.
Example: Bast felt he had to make substitute posts for TA, while TA was away from Getbig.
Total ownage. I give TA lots of credit for owning someone like that over the internet.

Drugs can be a wonderful thing if you treat them with respect, but that is key.
That is the smartest thing I've see written on here...
-
Thanks! Which drugs can't be respected? I know some drugs have such an addictive potential that they shouldn't be used at all, but most drugs can be used in a moderate manner - steroids definitely fit into this category.
Every drug should be respected... My dad thought he had it over certain drugs (prescription) and was dead at 47.
Am I a total non drug user and preacher?
No. I use drugs (I include alcohol and caffiene as drugs since they are) on occassion and when I haven't respected the substance/s I've paid the price and learnt quick that you are at their mercy if you aren't careful...
-
I think Steve and Flex might be eclipsed by another guy: Trey Brewer. Trey took third heavyweight in the 05 teen nats. (Steve took first.) However, Trey was very big, and had the largest quads I have ever seen on a young bodybuilder. (Check out the pics at repetrope if you don't believe me.)
He isn't competing this year, but I read on another board he is up to 320. (Of course, that would be a very fat 320!) But if he is as freaky as he seems, he may just blow away many of the young bodybuilders of today.
-

this kid got potential
-
I don't know why TA is so angry. Like I said, I think it might have something to do with being ass raped lied to or Hot-Carled burned by some insecure juicer.
You may be on to something... ;D

I never knew this about Bast...dude looks like he's got a good build but he worships TA to the point that it's almost scary....maybe he lacks self confidence....dude go invest in some Anthony Robbins cd's and get some self esteem.

I will say this!! i have never meet or seen Steve before seeing these pictures and i can say i am very impressed with his potential.
Knowing Flex very well and being a great friend of mine and seeing his many times in the gym. Flex is a pro in the making!!! without a doubt he will be on the Olympia stage in the future!! pictures normally do a guy about 50% justice and this is the case with Flex. Already has pro calves, quads and forearms. A bit more back and chest thickness and he will be READY!!!!! i hate to see what he will look like in 3 yrs time!!! :o actually i cannot wait to see what he will look like!!! ;D

any thoughts ADONIS?

Matt C has me read pretty much spot on.
You see, I hate this Steve Kuclo because he was claiming natural when him and that BIGSDAWG from GAYHEM were both scoring roids at the same time....Posting about it on Bodybuilding.com on the Teenage board.
They tried to cover it all up. I can`t stand them. Steve is All Drugs.
He is a joke to me. Anyone who has such a reliance is a joke.
I have met juicers who I respect....The ones that readily admit the truth of steroids and the fact that they are way way way less without them.
The ones that tout their "genetic" superiority and bitch about a contest diet being hard when their dumbasses are having cheat meals and eating 275 grams of carbs on a "low" day are just pathetic.
They have no reason to bitch and no reason for any excuses.
Drugs bring the level of difficulty way way way down. You can juice and not train but still gain muscle. That is how pathetic it is.
-

Do you have proof of this? This could make things interesting, as many people have claimed Steve was/is natural.
But, you're probably just talking out of your ass again.

No fucking way is Steve Natural now. Maybe when he was 19, but not now.
