If you know what you are doing, you shouldn`t have to do any cardio.

Yep, cardio sucks alright. Although for me it's either the treadmill or elliptical machine depending on how much of a pounding I want to give my joints.

Theres a thousand other ways to do cardio, you don't have to stick to the status quo!!

I know what you're saying here but obviously when you're dieting down its good to regain a bit of true cardiovascular fitness.

It doesn't matter what you do for cardio, if you're doing it seriously its going to be boring.  For me there is no more effective way of slowing time perception down than doing cardio.

Ever try holding in a bowel movement when waiting for a girl to leave?

Time will sloooooow down even more.

slow cardio for 40-1 hour>all this high intesity interval crap

its boring as hell though, so you need to watch some tv or listen to music while you do it..but gets the job done the best

Do not agree.

Yea. I try to bring a book when doing cardio...
That's what I do too. I always have something I need to read and cardio is one of the best times for me to get my reading done during a busy day.

Not true, even Bill Pearl did cardio everyday, he was integrating in his training long before anyone else!

Not true, you burn more fat doing 30mins of intense intervals than you do doing 45-60mins at one pace!

808 you are in Long Beach.  Are you training at the Gold's there.  That is a good club.  If you are evr over on the Big Island I am opeing two clubs here. One in Hilo and in Kona.  It looks like they will be Dorian Yates Temple Gyms.  We are having a BJ Penn MMA Training Center in each one.  We will be opening 2 on Oahu and 2 Maui and 1 on Kauai too.  Stop on by.  Plus we will be looking for good personal trianers.
