Title: Ideas for guests for Hornet's Nest web radio show
Post by: 240 is Back on August 15, 2006, 08:17:02 PM
As you may know, Vince Goodrum will soon be starting an online radio show.  Love him or hate him, he's entertaining.  And he has a voice that will definitely keep you laughing.  So it should be a good listen.

1- Vince, what guests do you have planned, and when will we hear the first episode?

2- Getbiggers, who would you like to hear go mano-a-mano with Vince?

I think True Adonis would be a terrific guest.
Pit him against some gear user on the merits of juice.  Would be legendary.

Vince Basile vs. Arvilla might be a good show.
Vince Goodrum vs. Arvillas would be good too.

I would like to have Lee Priest as my first guest however I'd doubt if he would ever have the courage to answer the tough questions regarding the PDI.

The Hornet's Net is only one of the many things I'll be doing with my Skype broadcast equipment I invested in.

This equipment allows me to now conduct my personal training certifications to customer via the internet which keeps my traveling down.

I'll also be conducting seminars on Pre-Paid Legal Services and why bodybuilders need the service now that I'm an official representative of the company.

If Vince has his show up and running before the Mr. GetBig, he definitely needs to have the competitors on. What could be better than hearing TA, Alex, 240, and DaddyWaddy go at it?

Arvilla would be a poor choice, doesn't he speak spanish or something???

Vince Basile would be interesting however his vast book knowledge may put some listeners to sleep.

It will be an exciting show because with the Skype Broadcast service, you can request for the mic and your questions can be answered LIVE!!

my Skype broadcast equipment I invested in.

Sounds very impressive. Is it a headphone/mic or a USB phone?

Manhattan Skype Base Station.  Basically a dedicated Skype Keypad, 2 headphone connections, 6 USB ports for the other devices.  I use a headset right now but soon it will be a wireless bluetooth headset

African? Zimbabwean?

Are those even languages?

And why would a tool like Goodrum speak those languages?

I know I can be an argumentative C$%T but that's hardly "broadcast equipment" it's a bloody Skype phone!

African - No
Zimbabwean - only as a sign language.

Your right Zack.   ;)

I should have asked if he spoke any of these languages:
Acholi (Uganda)
Akan/Twi (Ghana)
Amharic (Ethiopia)
Arabic (North Africa)
Bambara/Mandingo (Maninka/Dyula) (West Africa)
Bemba (Zambia)
Fulfulde/Pulaar (West Africa)
Hausa (Nigeria, guy)
Igbo (Nigeria)
Kikuyu (Kenya)
kiNyarwanda (Rwanda)
Kpelle (Liberia, Guinea)
Krio (Sierra Leone)
Lingala (Congo/Zaire)
Luganda (Uganda)
Malagasy (Madagascar)
Mende (Sierra Leone)
Nyanja/Chewa (Zambia, Malawi)
Oromo (Ethiopia)
Shona (Zimbabwe, Mozambique)
Sesotho (Lesotho and South Africa)
Somali (Somalia)
Swahili (East Africa)
Temne (Sierra Leone)
Tigrinia (Eritrea and Ethiopia)
West African Pidgin English (Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Cameroon, etc.)
Wolof (Senegal, Gambia)
Xhosa (South Africa)
Yoruba (Nigeria)
Zulu (South Africa)

I was just trying to keep it simple.

...and why would I think he could?  The same reason he would assume Michael spoke Spanish (even though he is not and his name is not Spanish...it's Portuguese).

I think Vince should get Onlyme on the show and ask him (Onlyme) if his appearance in Star Wars as Jabba the Hut has made him a recognisable figure wherever he goes. And in turn, Onlyme should ask Vince why he mispelt POS as CSN, when he registered at Getbig.
