Title: The Facts
Post by: bigmc on August 17, 2006, 04:34:00 AM
It always amazes me when people post on bodybuilding boards, how many are extremely strong.

The facts are as follows in any gym there is less than 5 percent of the guys that -

Bench more than 300

Squat more than 400

Dead more than 500

Yet if you go by bodybuilding boards everyone is superman

Lying about your lifts does not help

Be honest with yourself and others there is no shame in lifting light weights we all started there!

Its a way for people to escape their pathetic "real" lives, and to be something their not.

I mean...who doesnt bench 550?

Just the other day I loaded up 750 on the bench and did ONE whole negative with it

I can't bench shit, dead lift shit or squat shit. I always work hard though. That's what seems to count.

It's no big deal to me honestly. I'm usually sore the next day. I'm going to failure so that's all that matters. If you can handle big weights then that's cool. I made myself fat chasing those high numbers.

I dont give a fcuk how strong a guy might be, you gotta have the physique sometime to talk for you. Dont get me wrong, I've seen guys who weigh less that 200lbs, and they're maxing out at twice their body weight. I think it's very common even among the Pros that every body lies about their bench numbers
