Last month or so I've been eating more and more frequently. In fact I feel that I have been eating MORE food overall with 7 - 8 meals (the BB type..6 oz chicken, oatmeal) compared to say just 4. But I have also noticed two major things...
1. About an hour to hour and a half after last meal the hunger pangs are very intense, and only quelled with another meal or water. Plus after sleep I wake up starving!!
2. I must take like four to six shits a day!! And piss just as much if not more !!
Question, does this sound similar to those who also have been dieting ? And what other things happen to you when you are in the middle of a serious cutting phase...

As a youth growing up I always have been quit the shitter .... plus Im ussually the first person to sweat and sweat alot when working out....

during my last mass-phase I started eating every hour and a half. After a day or two I would become ravenous after 90 mintues and have to eat or I would feel sick. When I woke up I would be so hungry I sometimes puked from having too much stomach acid built up. From there I had to keep it to no less than 2 hours between meals. I find that if you dip under 2 hours between, your body gets used to it fast and it messes you up.
Same with my cutting-phases. Less than 2 hours between meals and it fucked me up. Just drink something or eat a banana between meals if you get hungry. That seems to work for me.

Is that what that is, when you dont eat and you start to dry heave ??? That happen to me all my life...if I dont eat I start to dry heave like crazy...i could never go on a show like Survivor ...i would keel in 6 hours !!

my theory is that your body adapts to the rhythm of your eating habits. If you eat every 2-3 hours, your body starts producing stomach acid to break down the food. The same if you eat every 90 mintues. Of course, its a lot harder to eat every 90 minutes then it is to eat every 120-180 minutes.
So your stomach releases or produces all the acid every 90 minutes in preparation for the meal it assumes is coming becuase it has for the past day or two. If you don't eat, the acid builds up and makes you feel sick. This would explain why I would wake up so hungry and I Would puke up A SHIT LOAD of stomach acid and bile, becasue it built up over the 8 hours I was sleeping.
When Iw as eating every two to three hours, I would wake up at 3 am everyday AUTOMATICALLY becasue I would be so hungry my body woke me. I'd have a protein shake then go to bed.
So my theory is about eating patterns putting your digestive system into a rhythm, and the build up of stomach acid that occurs in response to it. My advice, never eat a full meal until at least 2 hours after the previous one. Unless, you're willing to eat EVERY 90 minutes. I tried and it jsut messed me up each time I tried.

I cant put in 8 hours a day... I have to be up and running at 630 in the morning...I do have a career, so normally i get to sleep at 12-1230 till 6 30, a couple of times during the week i sleep for an hour and half before working out after I come home from work. On the weekends I do some catching up, sleep 8-9 hours plus nap an hour on both days as well. Every little bit helps in the recovery i suppose...

I sleep about 4 hours a night because I like to go to bed very late and have to get up for work at 7 am.
On weekends I get 8-12 hours of sleep though.

I've been dieting for 2.5 weeks now. I recently started sleeping 8+ hours since I seem to lose 2lbs while sleeping and gain 1lb back during the day. I never wake up hungry.
