Hey guys
for this week, I've been trying a new six day split.. I was looking at different bbing boards. and someone posted a question about a five day split and someone replied that if you get in the food and the rest you can train more then five day per week.. I throught that I would try it.. I have not trained six days in three to four years. I've alway read that six days is too much.. so, I did six days/twice a week for everything bodypart. I cut down the volume to nine sets for each muscle group. I throught that I would be feeling like crap but after the week, I'm feeling great (i did sun-fri). now, i do eat seven to eight meals a day and get nine hours of sleep at night..
my question is,should i keep training like this?? I've always learned twice a week is too much to recover from.
this is my split
sun chest/delts/trisj
mon back/traps/bis/abs
tue legs
wedchest/delts/tris
thu back/traps/bis/abs
fri legs
should I drop it back down to a four day split?? am I going to overtrain/ run myself into the ground in the long run??
thx guys

This is my opinion, but I do LIKE this split IN THEORY....but in reality, I just won't work. How are you going to train back super hard and then come back the next day and do legs? Unless you are on gear, I don't think you can recover quickly enough. I follow a similar split, but each week I usually end up doing 2 back days and 1 leg day (if I deadlift, no way I can squat the next day) and vice versa the following week (2 leg day, 1 back day)

yes you have to put a split together where you won't be sore on other days like he said about squats and deads.
