I have an image that we've made transparent, but are unable to remove the halo effect around it. Does anyone know how to remove the halo using Adobe Illustrator so we can put the transparent image on our site on a colored background?
Thanks!!

Illustrator is primarily for vector graphics.
Why are you using it for bitmap images? Try photoshop.
Try increasing feathering/tolerance when selecting areas with the magic wand.

We had a graphic designer create our business logo, but they're not a website design company. After creatin the logo they suggested we download a temporary version of Adobe Illustrator to modify the vector files they sent us (an .ai file and .eps file). I assumed they used Adobe to create the logo since they suggested we use it for modifications. we asked them for help, but they suck so we're lookin for advice elsewhere before breakin down and goin to a website design company that can help us for sure.

if you want, email a copy of the graphic to me and I can try to rip off the halo and send it back to you.
