Title: Stomach Bumps
Post by: Arnold jr on August 26, 2006, 11:09:12 AM
What's the deal with these things? Some BB's seem to be covered in them while others are clean as a whistle. For those who don't know what I'm talking about, I'm referring to the bumps on the abs that look like giant mosquito bites. What is it that causes this and why doesn't every pro have them. I've noticed that guys like Wolf are covered in them, so is Lee, but then some one like Jay doesn't seem to have any, while Troy Alves has just one or two.

So what causes this? Does it have something to do with injections? I've injected in my abdomen area and I don't have these????

It's true...I never used GH...although I plan on to for my next show in May of 07. I plan on a very conservative 2-4iu's daily for 3weeks on except for Sundays...and 10 days off then cycle repeat then DONE.

I have plenty of gymrat friends who use GH year round and their midsection area is riddled with them...look like mosquito bites...exactly! it's because Gh is usually injected in the midsection/abdominal area by pinching some skin in between the thumb and pointerfinger with a 28gauge...

Some even tell me..."Fuck...look at the fkn bumps all over my stomach...is there anywehre els I should inject this shit?"

don't let anyone fool you...now my question is...what are the bumps around my shins or front calves or sides of my calves..like air bubbles all over down there. That isnt from injections...lots of people or athletes have them.

We've had at least two threads about this in the past.  The question was asked and answered.  Don't know if either of those threads are still available for viewing...

Maybe, but if they are caused by GH, then why do guys like Jay not seem to be covered in them as well...it's not like he's not using it.

I know he looks like Yoda in that pic...

I dont know why...all I know is from my gymrat buddies who before never used GH never had those bumps ont her midsection to them usingit now frequently having them...they tell me they are a little sore to touch like a pimple or ingrown hair sometimes.

Maybe Jay injects it less frequently but when he does its a whopping 8-10ius at a time...I dont know.

Subcutaneous lipomas from Slin and GH injections.

Type I diabetics have them a lot from all the injections.

You are supposed to vary the site of injection to try and prevent them from forming, but, if they were to inject on their arms they'd prolly be acused of synthol.

I believe they are nodules of the lymphatic system. Since the lymphatic system is 2-3 times longer than the circulatory system, nodules are able to house lymph (fluid) comprised mostly of WBC's and fatty acids.
These nodules become more pronounced with the low subcutaneous bodyfat and fill with BAT fatty acids as the body goes into crisis mode (Homeostasis)

There are no superficial lymph nodes above the abdominis rectus.

Are we looking at the abdominus rectus? Can these be superficial lymph nodes?

It doesn't have anything to do with gh or slin use.
I've been told that they are either fat deposit lumps or little hernias. Both my girl and I both have them when we get our BF down very low AND I know it's not from GH or Slin use cause my girl has never used either of them!
In fact, we use them as a gauge of how lean we are :)
