Big James Henderson is the greatest raw bencher ever.

His best gym lift is 755 lbs I believe.

I rank Henderson as the greatest benchpresser period.

Reps out 600...

So he would do 7-8 reps with 600 lbs just like that?

I don't believe it for a minute.

doesn't take balls when you know you can do it, I had done it for 4 reps earlier in the week...only did it a second time to try and get it on tape.

lol...even if I know I can do it, I still like the spotters....just in case! Impressive lift none the less.  At what meet are you going to attempt to break the record?

Hahaha.

You're a strong mutherfcuker.

Incredible.

Didn't look like a perfect set either. You may be up there with Henderson soon if you keep at it. And he was much heavier than you seem to be.

Wow.

Zack, you had better believe it!  The man is incredible and has done a raw 650 lbs in competition.  He recently suffered a minor pec tear but is back in the game.  I do believe he has the goods to challenge Mendelson.

I heard he was approx 350 lbs. And he's a short motherfcuker, only around 170 cm's, 5'7''?

Good to know we got height advantage on the guy. ;D

He's probably a pretty fun person to be around, because you what the say about short people...

they're funny. 8)

Mr 1000 lbs squat. 8)

Way before my time, fortunate enough to seen movies of that crazy SOB. Died in late 90's, RIP.

Had a big bench too, over 600 lbs in competition.

MILO did a piece on him in the late 90's and Strossen said that he benched 600 plus shirtless and pressed 385 behind the neck seated for a few good reps, he was 5'7" 315lbs., he was the guy who was squatting 1003 at an APF Nationals meet in the early 80's and the collar blew on one side of the bar and the plates came off one side and he came back and made the lift on a second attempt, absolutely incredible.

That's a fcuking crazy pic.

Kenta weighs 320-330 lbs, he's a big guy, and looks like a light weight in comparison. Big James was weighing 450+ lbs in that pic.

Moran was lifting in the USPF Senior Nationals when that accident happened. He never lifted in the APF.
