I'm getting pretty tired of cracking 12 eggs, getting messy and then having to sanitize.
I was looking at eggology and international egg whites. Which egg whites do you go with and which do you find to be cheapest?
eggology is about $.23 for each egg white, IEW about $.16.
THanks

I think you anwered your own question.

I want to know if there are other sources on the net for egg whites besides these two companies. Thanks

I've seen about 4-5 brands in my local markets depending on which one you go to. Unfortunately, I'm at work and the names escape me. Eggcology is the most expensive brand I've into, with egg beaters next (although I like spending a little extra for the cheese and chive flavored egg beaters). The cheapest will probably depend on whoever is running the special on a given week.

well in the stores I have seen egg beaters and such but only in tiny little bottles. I need bulk, as I will probably do 12 egg white per sitting. I guess I will go with egg white international. THanks

If you have a chain called ALDI in your area they are real cheap, a package that is the equivalent to 16 whites is $1.79.

Ya its got added vits too. The package says its equivalent to 8 whole eggs so thats 16 whites.
-
i like regular eggs because i like to include a couple of yolks.
-
are those whites from ALDI's already pasteurized?
If not, I'm not interested
-
Yes they are, on the front they say egg substitute but they are egg whites.

Has anybody thought of building a chicken coupe in your backyard, for the purpose of having an endless supply of eggs?
-
The cost savings to pain in the ass ratio was a little off so I dumped the idea. Plus the landlord was all pissy about it. ;D

I used to have chickens (sorta). Something kept killing them. Actually, it was more than one "something". Chickens and eggs are pretty tastey to fox, raccoon, hawks, weasels, coyotes....
