Title: Ronnie at 100% Unbeatable?
Post by: swilkins1984 on September 02, 2006, 09:37:27 AM
I was thinking who could actually be a challenge for Ronnie at their absolute personal best when he is at 100%.  I know it is a pretty tough question but for now I guess its either Jay or Chris and maybe Dexter and Victor.

Kenshin..

Markus doesn't stand a chance. Even if he comes in 100%, dry to the bone and brings the full package.

If get plays the aesthtic like last year, he looks like shit even if he's on point, if he plays the mass game, his waist will be too wide.

plus his tris lack.

A very stupid question. How should it be possible for somebody to beat the 8 time Mr. O when he comes 100%  ??? ??? ???

Back in the Yates era there were plenty guys who could still kick Colemans ass nowadays when thy would haver their peak package from back then (Wheeler, Levrone, Nasser, Cormier, Ray)

But when he had 124kilos, he almost owned Coleman on MM pose comparison.
So I imagine 135kilos of Markus is enough big to compensate all defect thats you mentioned.
This is my theory.

Oh no! with guns!!

Well seriously, if I exagerate, Shawn cant beat Jay..
Or 200kilos shredded Kamali have chance to beat Coleman.
Do you understand?
BBing is Mass,Shape,Condition.
Total of them.
So if you have very superb Muscle mass, you have chance to beat good shape guy.

Not a stupid question I think.  How?.....MMMMM Maybe they come in 100% also.  Kinda like a 2000 Kevin Levrone or 2001 Jay Cutler.  I also see some people know of my avatar picture and yes I am a big fan of the the Rurouni Kenshin anime.

Dorian in 93 spanked everyone on that stage.  He looked insane.

ronnie in his 99 shape is pretty tough to beat.

Ronnie in 99 and 03 was also an undisputed victory.  But not in 2000 or 2001 just "justifiable" not "undisputed" as Kevin and Jay could have taken the victory on those two ocassions IMO.

I can't anybody beating Ronnie now - he doesn't even have to come in at 100% anymore - dynasties created by the IFBB say he will win regardless. Pretty depressing really - I wouldn't mind seeing an upset - especially this year.

Levrone never had the back and legs that he had early in his career to match up with coleman when coleman was the MR. O....

Dillet was the only one in the last two decades with the potential; Wheeler close but couldn't do anything about some structural limitations.

Dillet overwhelming his little brother; who could tell from the more crucial front shots that Yates won?  ??? Now Dillet's aged and lost something from the layoff; it's too late.

I can't really see an upset this year because why would Ronnie come in anytrhing less than perfect on the night he is too make bb history.  Its like racing up 100 floors only to quit at 99...makes no sense.
Title: Re: Ronnie at 100% Unbeatable?

The only people in my opinion who could stand next to a peak 99 shape ronnie is Flex Wheeler in his 93 AC condition, or Shawn Ray in his 1994 Olympia condition.

Problem is, lat width would severely hurt either one's chances...

Dorian 93 had the width, but as we have seen, lacked the arms, legs, chest, shape, vascularity and taper to really stand next to 99 Ronnie without getting beat.

You're not into this very long, are you??

Coleman cannot lose, even if he comes in offseason.

Sure, there are a lot of constestants that disagree, otherwise they wouldn't be contestants.

Jay Cutler thinks he can win the O for a few years now.

Don't get me wrong, Ronnie is good, but even if he won't be on peak, he'll win. That's IFBB/Weider policy.

If Ronnie was supposed to loose anytime he would already have lost in 2001 or 2002.

Tony Freeman even though he is pretty tall could start living Ronnie's fairytale success in this sport. Previously unnoticed he just won his first show (even if it was not with the top guys). His shape is incredible, only has a few flaws, and he has that crazy small midsection.  Maybe he won't beat Ronnie this year, thats almost out of the question unless Freeman gains like 20lbs of muscle, but thats the only upset I could see.

Jay sacrafices so much staying on for so long. Read on forums he begins his Mr. Olympia training the day after the Olympia final show. Sure his back is big, but that midsection can't go unnoticed. Yeah when Ronnie breathes out his gut is showing like crazy, it even shows when he's not breathing. But from the side Jay's portrusion is getting out of hand.

Dexter is a great bodybuilder except for the bottom half of his torso. I don't see an upset coming from him. He has crazy full muscle bellies, and a small midsection. The high lats/weird abs are his weakness.

Gustavo doesn't have a chance, too many weaknesses.

I guess
LONG LIVE THE KING......

but he was just about at 100%..and ronnie was not at his best
