Title: Poster Boy for Imaginary Lats Syndrome (ILS)
Post by: Hedgehog on September 03, 2006, 04:17:13 PM
Somebody needs to inform Kamali that he's long been the poster boy for Imaginary Lats Syndrome (ILS). He comes across like a complete toolbox.

He could learn a thing or two from Pavol Jablonicky on performing the relaxed.

Could someone give me some insight in why he poses his 'relaxed' pose like this?

perhaps he doesn't have the forearm mass to allow gravity to pull his arms down to conversational level?

Why don't his spotters get to be on stage with him?

Kings legs remind me of Levrone's in latter years when he stopped squating due to injury. I wonder if king has the same problem as his legs used to have a much better sweep?

I doubt it.

Shahriar has great development of the inner thighs, but lacks the outer sweep.

A classic syndrome from doing lots of extremely heavy partial squats.

I doubt Shahriar has done ass to calves front squats in a lot of years either.

Quick fix: Hire Cicherillo as a trainer and nutrition coach.

I personally think his legs LOOK overtrained.

All that precontest cardio and high volume quad work will do that - one reason to cut back on thigh training volume somewhat during contest prep.

I disagree. I think he would've taken 9-10th place.

You're talking bout the NPC Nationals, right? ;D

Doing that "caps" your shoulder out. Notice how king's delts blend in with his triceps because his humerus is rotated a little too far internally...

Dexter is great at doing this pose also.

He looks a little stage weary... the guy needs a vacation from the gym for a few months
