Title: what is the proper way to cheat on a diet, and how often?

I've read that cheating is a good way to jumpstart your metabolism and get your body out of starvation mode, but what is the proper way to cheat, and how often?

  Every week and a half to two weeks, you should jumpstart your metabolism by increasing your caloric intake for one day(preferably on your off day)...try to eat mostly clean calories, but as the day goes on you can eat what you want in moderation to acheive your increase in caloreis..dont eat past 8 pm though.. do it all before throughout the day..

I would do it once a week....i used to eat an entire large, thin crust from domino's.....
