Pickings have been a bit slim the past month or so. But, this month, it's a good time to pick up goodies.
MET-Rx RTD 40, marked down to $1.64 ($1.31 with Gold Card, ended up with 17 of them).
EAS MyoPro Protein, 5-lb. jug for $21.50
Gakic, marked down to $40 ($32 with the Gold Card; only drawback is that it's the powder not the pills. Boy, does that stuff tastes TERRIBLE!!!)
Got some stuff from Vitamin Shoppe, too. Well....just one item: Prolab Therma Pro (Ephedra Free), marked down 75% to $8.61.
And from a local store, Hydroxycut Hardcore for $30.
Not to mention, Albertsons had boneless chicken breasts for $1.79/lb. However, they weren't the neat little breast fillets you normally see. From the looks of it, the folks just yanked the bones out and folded them in half. Fine by me, as long as they're fresh and cheap.
All in all, a good haul.....and I still have a couple days left.
;D

I've found a way to neutralize that horrid taste (somewhat): Taking it with Sunny Delight.

This is the 2nd time I've used it. It's worked well for me. The only issue has been the price. GAKIC retails for $80; at that price, I don't put it high on my priority of supplements. Even with the Gold Card, it can be pricey ($64).
However, GNC is having sales on Gakic. But, again, the catch is that the pills are still $80; it's the powder that's being marked down. Someone should find the guy from MuscleTech, in charge of making the flavors for the supplements and punch him dead in his nose.

The GAKIC powder is discontinued, hence that great markdown

Good news and bad news. I don't blame MuscleTech for killing the powder, due to the horrid taste. However, it works well, not worth $80 though. For $40 or less (I got it for $32), it's a good buy.
