his form is suprisingly decent.
-
His form was awesome when he was doing the 85's, it suffered a bit when he was using the 100's. I must admit though, his form was far better than I thought it would be.
-
I can probably do that. I done them with the 60s like it was nothing.
-
I thought Bob was very personable and good in that clip ---- dont get any ideas Bob !!
-

Alexxx, what I find interesting is that you talk about your "strength". Why don't you post a video confirming all of your talk. Is that too complicated? I am guessing that you won't....but will keep talking
-
Sweet Zombie Jesus!

i agree us tall people are superiors
-
I don't consider that good form at all. Using momentum the entire time. Far better to do it slower with less weight. Although a heavy cheat set of two is good to include.
-

Yeah, how much less would they use with perfect form...
But it's probably what works for them.
-
Some momentum is inevitable when doing these especially when you try to keep your arms as straight as possible.
-
I am not impressed at all! What exercise is that THE WHOLE-BODY JERK!

Thanks man, I was looking for it...

Alexxx it was a "Canadian 60"... would be like 25 down here...
-
Sweet Zombie Jesus. ;D

you mean to say that a lanky kid like Alexxx can't have the same strength levels as one of the strongest PROS? What nonesense. I am sure that Alexxx and Daddywaddy have plenty of video footage proving their superior and god-like strength, they just choose not to share it with us because they are so humble.
-
I like his shoulder shape with the traps, mine's similar but natural ;D
-
Form was very sloppy---but great for a heavy cheat set, none the less, very impressive weights !
-
It's pretty funny when some skinny punk scolds a big guy for not using textbook form. Just look at the kind of form Ronnie uses on his lifts. There is simply no reason for a bodybuilder to use perfect form. Their goal is to stimulate the muscle, not to perform a lift correctly.

Monster quarter squats and partial bench press

Using better form = more stimulation. The muscle has to work more, seems fairly logical to me.
Secondly, Ronnie is on growth hormone, how much stimulation does he need? ::)
-
Bob is turning into a balding, bloated mess. He looks absolutely terrible in those training shots. Like a blow up pool toy with a head.
Some of these fuckers have no idea how stupid they really look.
-
Johnny probably had to make a special "in-house guest posing appearence" while Bob was doing rear delts. I figure 15 minutes worth for some enormously rich Cali homosexual guy is worth around $300-400....
-
WHEN THE FUCK IS THE FIT SHOW GONNA UPDATE THIER ITUNES PODCASTS!!!

if you are keeping your arms straight then you are doing it wrong...using to much of your forearms to hold the weight
-

number one thing on my wish list = dead alexxx

I didn't say hold them perfectly straight, I said as straight as possibe.

Poor form. His joints will be fried soon. Jay cutler does no more then 75 pounders and he is ranked #2 in the world.

johnnie trained heavy and thats a fact.wat ever suits jackson its ok for him.being rank 2 or rank 10 has no business in differentiating in your training styles.ronnie has always lifted heavy before he became mr olympia..so there alot of guys who trained like pussies and still got big..for eg wheeler lifted like a stoned guy and to me he looked like crap..johnnie rulz and you suck
-
That pathetic "shoulder" workout is a testament to why drugs and genes are the keys to bb success. I train 3 times harder than that on an average day.

Bob, that video kicks ass. Good MC

I'll say amen to that.

You're exactly right....why lift correctly when genes and drugs are doin all the work for you?

Too late you're already bent over and in launching position waiting for liftoff.
-
Thought the form was shit. I do them like that too but I'm under no illusions to the fact it is shit and plenty of momentum involved.
Works though
-
Fantastic genes + BB chemicals + 1/4-1/2 reps + skin tight glitter clothing = bb
-

sure you do.
oh, sorry tom platz.

Its not about what you push, its about what you look like. If you call swinging the shit our of a pair of 100 pounders good form then I feel sorry for you. Considering Flex Wheeler was a multiple Arnold Classic winner, he needs to take a second seat to no one. Coleman trains heavy but he trains properly and with good form.

Thats why your shoulder stay the same size.Just overtrained.(No kidding)
Pros know about it very much.

Yeah, that's it.....it's gotta be the "overtraining".

i posted that video on the Johnny jackson lift claims thread that sarcams posted...While not being perfect form, i think its very good for the kind of weight he is using..
For what i could saw, no one here do that much of weight on lateral raises, so it seems obvious that no one here can do that weight with BETTER form than that...
May not work for others, but it works for him, and i give the guy props for that (and for the fact he do that with this kind of monster weight!!!)

That vid further justifies that most bbs workout regimens and training methods are crap. Form is irrelevant (almost all pro bb training vids show this), reps and weight are irrelevant (most pros could work construction and pack on quality mass)....it's just good genes, good drugs and "heave ho" through a couple hours each day.
-
Very true, it probably only matters for the natural.

his form is suprisingly decent.
Thats alot of weight for that movement...wow..Johnie is just a beast...plain and simple... naturally a strong guy.

yes, apparently johnny will never get big shoulders doing his laterals THAT way!!!! youre an idiot!

im just saying...pinning the way johnny looks on a substance ( ie. growth hormone), or any substance...just speaks volumes on how little this man understands the big picture.
-

major sarcasm, hence the name. what is it all about then??

you're right jr. Yates, drugs have absolutely noithing to do with how these guys look. ::)

well of course drugs are the biggest factor. But Jay,Ronnie and all of em still have to train and diet. or do they just do the drugs and *poof* instant Mr. O competitors?
-
lmao!!! my god!!! what you DONT know about bodybuilding at the higher levels could fill a library!!!! you, i say again , are an idiot!!!
well it's too bad i don't value your opinion.

I never said this type of training won't work. It works. I could go do laterals with heavy dumbells in this fashion and it would work, or I could use less weight and do them more controlled, and it would work as well, just better.

fair enough. i just get sick of people witnessing what i call "controlled cheating" and calling it "no good". its actually a great way to put more stress/resistance/trauma on a muscle than can be achieved using textbook form....when its done right. johnny is absolutely doing it "right" with the 85's. in that clip.
-
Jonnie sure is powerful. love watching him train.
