Title: RICHARD JONES - no more?
Post by: Slick Vic on September 12, 2006, 05:47:37 PM
Is he through with competing to solely concentrate on school?

Is he through with competing to solely concentrate on school?

Hmmmm, so he decided to forgo a useless "career" in the IFBB that would involve trashing his health for very limited (if any) financial reward, and instead get an education with which he can earn real money for 40 or more years and still have his health?

Smart man, this Richard Jones.

Richard Jones is planning on competing at the Shawn Ray Colorado Pro in 2007, if all goes well with his training, studies, and other paths he has chosen. Bodybuilding is a sport of love, and never underestimate Richard Jones.

Cool. I admire Richard Jones for balancing competitive bodybuilding as well as school. Way to go!

Not to mention he only dabbled in enough gear to get a physique which is huge but still able to pull tons of quality babes.  He said he never went the insulin/GH route.  Good on him!
I'd be very surprised if he never did any GH at all.

Richard is smart for going for a "real" career rather than waste time trying to get 'rich' from BBing.

I think he hasn't really lived out his full potential in BBing.

Word has it that he is looking RIDICULOUS and is somewhere in the high 240's? Anyone know if that true?

If so, then i can't wait to see what that fool looks like next year or when ever he competes again.

It would be awesome to see him compete next year but I won't believe it until I see it this time !   :-\

people said he was competing last year at the europa and he didn't

people said he would be competing at the Ironman and he didn't

I miss RJ, with his 2003 conditionning he would kill everybody onstage

Richard Jones is the one guy I felt has the potential to be a great Mr. Olympia...he reminds me a lot of a 94 Coleman, very humble, but also very genetically blessed...especially in the back.

Richard Jones has the best genetics in BB bar none and the potential to be a worthy Mr Olympia.. Yes he does need to bring his legs up (as he is aware)

I don't really like the competition look, but that right there is a man of beauty.  He looks beautiful (That is something when a woman calls you beautiful) like a work of art.

So sexy.  He is really smart too...Gosh whomever is with him is a very lucky lady, and I am jealous. ;D

I admire his academic studys and his physique.Last i heard he was doing extreme stretching with a MMA fighter and training consistantly with the weights.I have great respect for Rocco choosing not to do HGH,IGF,Slin he has similiar lines to Shawn Ray and i predict great things from him in the future.A top 3 MrO placing in 2008.Also he finnished 3rd in the NOC several years back, i think bodybuilding and Rocco is going to make a huge impact in bodybuilding when he finishes school.I am not gay but the guy has good looks and when he steps on stage the women in the crowd will faint.
Team Rocco

I'm not sure but I think this somehow relates to the fact that during the telecast of the 93' O Jim Quinn reported that in the days leading up to the contest Billy Smith gave Flex Wheeler a skin caliper test at Golds Gym and he measured 0.0% BF, the lowest reading ever recorded at that time.

I believe he got injured last year right before the Europa   ???  I am sure whenever he does come back to the stage he will look great.  After disappearing for years he just reappeared at the USAS in 03 for his pro card.....
