I've done it before but via a heavy deadlift I have myself a quite red face. The new bit is the bit where my upper chest, traps and shoulders are covered in red spots too :(
Common occurrence?
Worst face burst I ever experienced was after some violent vomiting. Looked like I had been wearing makeup all my life up until that moment (and I'm an ugly bastard as it is)

Stupid question,
but do you breath during the excercise? Is your condition up to date? And I mean serioues condition like running or swimming, not cycling or crosstrainer.
It's normal to get a very red face during heavy exercise, but not over your whole body.

Don't worry Rocket, we take care of these little cumfilled bloodvessels around here.

All over the face and the upper neck, and a bit on shoulders and such.

This is what happens when we lift heavy.

Only if I eat high carbs the previous day do I get this effect. The chest gets purple durning heavy pull-overs. What a rush! :D

I didn't know it was burst blood vessels, but I noticed red spots on the top of my hands one time at the gym. Not sure what ex. I was doing.
Can they be treated and how bad is it to get them?

dan kendra, old backup QB for Florida state, used to be insanely strong. once he leg pressed some big amount and broke blood vessels in both eyes, major gross.
