Ronnie Coleman was supposed to be on, but something went astry.
"Pro Bodybuilding Weekly" celebrates its 50th broadcast with special guest Ronnie Coleman. Just days before his attempt to break Lee Haney's record, Coleman will discuss his plans for the upcoming Olympia and his status as the greatest bodybuilder to ever live. Dan & Bob will also chat with Carla Sanchez as bodybuilding talk radio gears up for the 2006 Olympia Weekend!

Tonight was VERY disappointing -- We all work VERY hard each week to put these shows together. -- Thanks to Shawn Perine and Carla Sanchez for joining us in Ronnie's absence. Needless to say, its frustrating when issues occur that are beyond our control. Very disapointing.

You and Chick do a great job even though chick is a little bit of a prick but I guess thats why he has the job. Nevertheless, I have been a fan of the show and wonder what really happened to Ronnie, and if you guys can get an interview from him and record it to post on the PBW website when available. What issues would occur preventing that.

Ronnie's no show was a huge dissapointment...not just to Dan and I...but to the thousands of fans of Ronnie, as well as the thousands of BB fans that listen every week.
We safeguard about 5 different ways to ensure that guests are reminded of what time to call in...they are emailed, called in advance, and we have 2-3 numbers to contact them on.
Ronnie agreed WEEKS ago, to be a guest on Pro BB weekly...this wasn't a last minute move.
Barring an emergency, or something well out of the ordinary...I would expect an apology from Mr. Olympia on letting the BB fans down.
There is more to being a professional BB, than just winning BB shows.

I can easily say he is the most disrespectful Mr.O yet. It doesn't matter how many times you win...the guys before him might have been confident, but they were humble and still were class acts throughout the year. Ronnie believes the hype too much...

I'm not entirely surprised by Ronnie's unexplained absence from PBBW radio. I'm sure many of you heard some of Ronnie's interviews where its as if he's either listening to tunes, eating peanut butter out of near empty jar, or using his 2-way during a live broadcast……or all three, plus the interview... He's definitely a great champion, but he really falls short of the mark when it comes to professionalism.

get a grip dodgeball man you ask the same questions to the different guests each time. You insert yourself into the guest story. sanchez has never competed in the olympia and is like listening to pain dry...you couldn't find any female in the olympia to talk or afriad they would cancel on you...
don't you think ronnie had a little more to prepare for then your worn out show...like say winning the olympia title for the 9th time...thousands of peanuts want to know why ronnie really didn't go on the show ??? stop crying

The O and history are around the block...and you want him to be thinking about skipping Skipper's radio show. Let us be real. As noted....Alti is a straightup woman. Let her tell the story and let him do his business. Skipper should have schedule that BS after the O.

Like talking about yourself for twenty five minutes is such an ordeal that can jepordize his training ..... Ronnie is a true prick for standing up Bob and Dan, Im glad he is retiring , they should screw him over and give the title to someone else who cares about the sport and can help the sport grow. Ronnie is a selfish fat dude who has ten years to live...tops!

He made a commitment, then reneged.
In the real world, you buy something with your credit card, and not pay it, what happens? Your charged a penalty. You made a commitment at the start when you applied for the credit card, to uphold your end of the bargain-pay the bills on time.
Ronnie's training will not be affected by one phone call (that he, again, committed to, weeks away), for 20min. He can sit down and do that instead of signing photographs, or as he eats his post-workout meal. Lots of ways "to skin that cat."
Ronnie should apologize as to why he didn't show. >:(
