I can't fucking believe it. No shirts were delivered to the NOC. They were shipped on Thursday with overnight guaranteed delivery by 10am on Firday the 15th. They did not attempt to deliver till 9pm that night. What the f**k is that. I have called them and they have admitted the mistake and for me to call customer relations on Monday. They didn't even try to deliver on Saturday. Here is the tracking number for the doubters thinking I am making it up.

Only a complete idiot would ship things at the last minute. If something is that important then get it done early

Just shows how stupid you are and you talk out of turn. Shipping early would have put the shirts in limbo for howver many days which would have increased the chance of some getting stolen. Plus their is a storage charge to hold packages at the venue. They are not a storage yard. FedEx is the largest shippers in the world or at least top 3. The imporatnt thing is they dropped the ball. Vince really you aren't that stupid are you. Opps yes you are.
Vince, don't compare how I do business with the way you do. You are a minor leaguer. You have done nothing in your life. You have to live with that. Luckily your parent are dead and don't have to witness their illegimate kid becoming the laughfest and loser they predicted back when you were in grade school. Remember this you are all mouth with no action. That is whay separates us and also that you look like shit but think you look good. So go ahead and ship your 1 or 2 pieces and I will continue to do what I do. We can see who acheives more. opps sorry again. I already have acheived more than you could ever dream of.

You were worried about the T-shirts being stolen????? Who the fuck is going to steal some PDI T-Shirts???? Come on, Slim, you can't be serious.
Now you can call me a dum-ass but you're the one out of those shirts. What are you going to do now???

Actually all I am out is what it costs me to print. I can afford unlike you. I have no problem with that nor would I have that much problem if I was the only one taking the loss. Wayne is the one who lost and the competitros and the people who wanted to buy them. That is why I am pissed. See son it is prettymuch impossible foryou to do anything that would get to me. You are a joke and eeryone on here knows it. Keep posting pics of me looking better that you and outweighin you buy close to 100 pounds. I mean how does that feel looking like shit they way you and you weigh nothing on top of that. Man I woudl be pissed if I was you too. We understand your pain. We all feel good that we aren't you. No that would be fucked up.

she pretty fly for a white girl

You didn't send a t-shirt to that "sgt. d" guy, did you? He's a douchebag... you really should withhold his t-shirt.
No I didn't take orders for the shirts. I'm not even sure Wayne did. I think he was giving them to the competitors and selling the rest. And Sgt. D is just a Korean Vince G. He is funny too.
-
One thing i Have learned is that Fed Ex guaranteed shipping overnight does not mean you will get it the next day. Between them and UPS, things have happened, especially if you ship a lot, once in a while the famous 'Delivery Exception' note comes up.
Those shirts should of been shipped before, and to someone reliable, not to the venue in question. And most definately not the day before. They still can be given to the competitors who competed, and the rest can be put up as 'classic inaugural PDI shorts.... the first PDI pro show...'
-
Yeah, it's not a total loss.

I have respect for Onlyme, but it seems ( base on the limited information ) that he dropped the ball on this.
To state that a venue would charge a promoter money to store t-shirts is " odd " and something I've never heard of. And not accept complete responsibility for the failed delivery is very poor business. Stating Wayne would be the one to incur the loss is foolish, any business would accept the loss and if FedEx was responsible they would need to reimburse Keith. Would there not have been a vendors contract and a guarantee of delivery?
240, why don't you think on that late night " higher level " and comment on how business law might apply to this, if there was indeed a contract.

I would but I'm currently all wrapped up in political thinking. I try to break all the work up into 10 or 12 chunks, proj mgmt style with the critical part, etc. Gotta have some slack.

I'm not blaming anyone. I wanted to make sure people knew what happened so no one says that Wayne dropped the ball or just didn't have shirt available. ANd yes venue do charge to store. I rented an entire convention center and I know how it works especially at a union venue. WHy do you think the day of an event there are som many trucks on hand delievering stuff for the booths and stuff. You think they would let the vendors store their stuff at the venue but they don't without charging. They charge for everything.
Loading, unloading, drayage and everything else you can think of. i am not coming up with excuses but I do have a reason why I waited. the show was on Saturday. They were to be delivered on Friday am before 10am. They cost allot of money to ship that way. But, I wanted guarantee they were there. They arrived in New York or wherever in plenty of time. When I called Fedex they agreed that they dropped the ball and made a night dleivery at 9:10pm or whatever. but even at that time there were people at the venue. Their driver basically didn't look to hard. I am eating the cost of the shirts. And I will help Wayne get rid of them.
They will end up being for sale on our website at www.musclemafia.com (http://www.musclemafia.com) if he wants.

Thats fair enough Keith and to be honest it was big of you to even bring this to our attention, we might not have known otherwise.
I apply Canadian business practices to American processes. In Canada ( for my 11 years in University I worked in the hotel industry, banquest department ) and we routinely store everything for vendors understanding they need these products to successfully do business. In the US, with massive turnover I could see an impractical aspect to free storage.

I heard Bob was responsible for messing with your shipment

I just spent an half hour with Fedex. Got a case number and they are investigating and will get back. The girl I talked to (Gwen I think) said she had been there 13 years and never seen a shipment so late. It was scheduled for pre 10am delivery on the 15th and no deleivery was made till 9pm that night. No phone calls to the contact number or anything. She didn't know what happened. So she said they will compensate if I ask. The shirts will be available at www.musclemafia.com sometime this week if Wayne lets me sell them for him. No shipping charges at all. I will have Fedex pay it. WHoever Wayne was going to give shirts to they will get them. I do feel really bad cause I know Wayne would have sold everyone one of these shirts. And that was lost income. Sorry to everyone for the f**k-up. I just wish I had the power to have fixed it. And could of if we at least got a call. I don't do business this way.

Thanks Ron for the comments.
Onlyme, you may be older and you may run some big numbers but you're never too old to learn new things. And you're such a big time baller, then you have no reason to come up here pissed off about some T-shirts. Yea, it was Fed-Ex's fault but you could have shipped those shirts early and held them in a storage facility. I think you had some doubts that the show was going to take place and held back.
You better hope you didn't use the same design Wayne used two years ago with those cheesy Pro-Division T-Shirts. If you did, then you may as well throw those things in the garbage can or sew them all together and make one big T-shirt for yourself.......Have a nice day, fatboy

Dude Vince G is a gimmick account. Im not even worried about the pdi shirt. It just goes to show you that people running this whole thing is not organized. Besides I was just going to use the shirt as a painting shirt. ;D

It's about 't-shirts', it's about the fact that he contracted (and paid for) a service that he did not get.
As a 'businessman', you should understand that fundamental.

Exactly. Especially shipping overnight guaranteed morning delivery. How much do you think that cost to ship 4 boxes weighing about 30 lbs. each overnight guranteed delivery. Of course they aren't charging for that now. But, there will be some compensation. All I want is the shirts to be given out to who Wayne promised them too (the comeptitors and workers) and have Fedex pay for that part and any other shipping of these shirts to people who order them. That is what I want from them. The girl I talked to today absoltely can't believe this happened. And again, it's about not having them there when I said they would be there that pisses me off. I sponsored the show and I wanted the pubilcity from it and I wanted Wayne to sell the shirts and help with costs of the show. They didn't show up and we both lost.

In NYC, trust me anything that isn't nailed down does get stolen.
Even being nailed down isn't a guarantee that it will stay put, the nails will be stolen too.

An example is at my show, the security company and convention center employees were caught stealing stuff out of the booths before the show opened. A police report was filed and everything. Vince just talks out of his ass cause he has no experince in much so he pretends he knows and gets caught everytime.

Is there anyway to buy the T-shirt now. Id buy one, cool to have the first PDI shirt, even if PDI doesn't take off it will be a collectors item....hook me up someone.

Well trying to figure out how we are going to do it. If Wayne lets me they will be available on ourwebsite at www.musclemafia.com by the end of the week. FedEx called me this morning at 7am and is waiting to talk to the driver and see what happened. They just delivered them to the Hall this morning. This was after I talked to them yesterday and told them to hold them until we decided where to send them. I will keep everyone informed
-
Thanks for keeping us all posted on the developments. I will bookmark this thread as to not loose it, it has me on the edge of my seat waiting to hear what turn FedEx takes next. You could always give them to the homeless in NYC as a tax write off.
In the end, it's really the thought that counts.
;)

I think the bodybuilders never made it to the show either

If they went to the homeless, they would end up in the same hands had they made it to the show in the first place..! ;D
