bloody sunday by u2 should be on here somewhere >:(
IT should, but not in its studio form. The live versions are so heavy and rocking that the studio version sounds like crap when compared. I've seen u2 live tons of times, and they rock that song harder and harder with each tour.

Ahhh liquid tension is sweet , check out DSI if you never had its, Mike Portnoy, Kevin Moore , and some guys from Fates warning I think. Good stuff!!

I'm a Who fan, Pete Townsend in his prime was the best songwriter on the planet. My MP3 player is still loaded with Who songs.
1. Love, Reign O'er Me - The greatest mix of instrumental and song writing Rock has ever seen. Fantastic use of non-traditional rock instruments.
2, Baba O'Riley - Still remember the first time I heard the opening of the song, it just blew me away.
2a. Won't Get Fooled Again - IMO the best lyrics of any song from that era. "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss"
3. U2 - Where The Streets Have No Name
3a. U2 - Sunday Bloody Sunday live at Red Rock - might be the best live song I own. "This song is not a rebel song, this song is Sunday Bloody Sunday"
Honorable mention:
Springsteen - Tunnel of Love - I have an MP3 of this song live in Sweden that is just incredible. It's on my MP3 player too, it's about 9 minutes long and it helps me get through the treadmill. ;D
Peter Gabriel - In Your Eyes - Live in Africa with Youssou N'Dour. Another long song that helps me through the treadmill.
-
I have OSI... that's Portnoy, Sherinian I think, and a Fates Warning guy. They're pretty cool!
