I just recieved word from Las Vegas that Stacey Simons will not be competing at the Olympia this weekend....
Stacey recieved her Qualification for the "O" last weekend at the Atlantic City Pro placing 3rd behind 1st place Julie Palmer and 2nd Place Angela Monteleone-Semsch.
Sorry to hear that she was not able to compete.
Wishing all the women luck this weekend!

Any news on why she will not be competing. Hope it was due to logistics and now injury. She was great to watch last week in AC!

Shame. One of the most underated fitness girls. Outstanding routines even discounting her signature backbend. Also a very pleasant person.

Ditto, I always liked her, thought she was very under-rated.
That back-bend...

I spoke with Stacey at the Olympia and she decided not to compete due to a tear in her hamstring. She will begin physical therapy shortly and will be back on the figure stage next year.

Absolutely, absolutely one of the most under-rated competitors in the industry!!!!!!
