Flex will always be known as the guy who fights imaginary ninjas and never lived up to his potential...the messed up webcast will just give us one more reason to bring up the former.

Of course. why not.
He showed up here and offering it and go fast.
Cold heart and nothing friendly.
And in addition, bad work.

If he appear more in board and he is friendly(like Lee Priest), still they forgive him.
But, he dont do it.

My opinion is that you would have to be stupid to not leave any video related things in the hands of anyone other than Wayne Gallasch of GMV.  I don't just say this because I promote his videos, but he IS the best around.  Why screw with a time tested and proven formula?  People need to keep in mind the expression "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."

As far as I'm concerned, I can forgive the webcast.......unless it is fnucked up tonight too.  Shit happens, and the replay is fine...so far.  If they don't have this crap fixed for the finals though, all the boards are going to be pretty hostile towards Flex's company.  What I am really upset with Flex about, is that he knew about the probs, and still has not gone on any of the boards to apologize and offer any reassurance for tonight's show. If I just didn't see it I apologize to him, but if I'm right.....very low class and unprofessional

I have not seen Flex here today.

If it was indeed Embarq's fault, then he should refund customers immeduately and seek legal remedy for them dropping the ball.

If it was just hardbody not buying enough bandwidth, then Embarq should nail hardbody to a wall for publicly blaming them last night on the boards.

Either way, if they have excuses, they need to have refunds.

Yes it will stain his reputation, most notably with the 'online bodybuilding community'. Certain people like myself will continue to bring it up whenever it is relevant even years from now.

Unless he remedies it by offering refunds, which I doubt, he will forever be known as a rip off artist.

Deservedly may I add.

You know what though..........when ever it comes up, Flex and company will just calls haters, despite the fact that they are in the wrong.

It SUCKS...

I would be watching as well, if it were on PPV......

Maybe he's too busy trying to FIX the problem to have time to come on here and hold your hand?

When did Flex graduate from ITT Tech?

Common sense and good business practices should have at least got him on the boards to fill us in I think.  Maybe I am asking too much?

Flex was a good BBer, but he was known as a selfish guy, a liar, and a guy who didn't treat people right, during his career.  I know he found God and admitted all of this later.

A zebra can't change his stripes.  Either you seriously care about people, or you don't.  How many of us, in Flex's shoes, would be writing personal checks for emergency bandwidth, and going on the boards and apologizing for last night, and offering autographed photos by mail for anyone inonvenienced? I know I would.

BBing.com pays for premium bandwidth and scaleable solutions for unexpected spikes like he had last night.  I do not know why hardbody didn't order this same thing from Embarq.

I watch far too many hours of politics on the news to not predict what's next.  flex and co will downplay the prob, blame others, cash their checks, then disappear.  Flex will take 2 years off business to let his name heal, just writing and trying to avoid 'internet haters', and will likely become a nazi about censorship on the other board.

The other two guys will start a new company without their pics on the home page, HB will 'restructure' with a new name and try to do something else in a few months.  They'll all take the money and run.  That's just my opinion.  I hope it ain't true.  But the silence is telling.

Yeah, there are indeed some folks who don't change that much after they become Christians. Shawn Ray, for example.

Great post, and I agree it is very telling of things to come.  Just want to mention that if I ever purchase something from you, and it goes badly I do believe that you would do that.  However, I would just like to ask that you don't send the autographed pic.  With some of the shit you've posted of yourself, that would be hard to explain to family and friends ;D

hahahahaha yeah, i'd also offer a Bella Donna pic for those who would prefer not get a 240 pic.   In a sport this small, you gotta do the right thing, every time.

I don't.

I mean, I certainly don't go out of my way to mess with people, and I at least try to be fair with others, but in the end I really don't give a good fucck about anyone except my family.  Although most won't admit it, when it comes down to it, we're all like that.

It is simply good business to not piss of tons of people and have your company and services be maligned all over the cyberworld for all to see.

I do not like to make personal attacks, and I hope this is not seen as one but lets face it. Wasn't Shawn Ray begging for money for Flex a while back? Didn't Flex make tons of money in his competitive career?

How does one go from making big dollars to having others beg for money for you?

Poor business sense, as he seems to be displaying now. Maybe he'll man up and fix the problem in some manner - but we'll see.

Yes, free webcasts going well and 25$ one being crappy, WTF seriously...
and we talk about 500k broadcast which can't be considered high quality.
I'm sure it's really possible to buy more bandwidth for tonight to fix the problem.
We'll see how serious they're. It's not like if they will be able to claim they were not aware of the problem.

I must say in Rob's defence he would not put out a crappy product to begin with and if anything did go wrong he would kill himself to fix the problem and offer restitution.

My guess -

It was probably a case of "Yeah, Package B should probably be enough.   package C would be plenty, but we don't want to spend that kinda cash.  A few stalls? We can live with that.  It's just a one-time thing anyway.  Yeah, get us B."

What you might be interested to know Matt is that Wayne Gallasch may not be the type of guy you think he is. Here is a little story I have been exposed to and I believe it to be true. All of Wayne's videos ( other than those produced by the stars themselves ) are used by Wayne with out their permission.

Wayne obtains footage, he edits, produces and packages that footage to sell abroad and the bodybuilders are not compensated in any fashion for their images. Wayne has had many pros go after him for money, but he avoids any legal repercussions by being based in Australia.

I am told he is not the most ethical guy out there.

Fred Berger is the money man < not very smart>
Flex is the scammer - who weaseled into the deal to make $100k a year - because he sold Berger on the fact that he is the most respect icon since Arnold. - TRUE Story

Call Fred and let him know he lied and then you maybe you will get refunded - number is on the website.

Believe me - Flex fooled everyone - but he was just trying to pay his bills.

The webcast was never the first idea but Flex does not have any contacts in TV  and they lost that Contact last year on December 13 2006. < The deal with the Olympia was already signed and like ronnie did not prepare for the event in the manner they thought would work>

So call Fred not Flex to get your money - the title is just a title , Kenneth "Flex" Wheeler is a Former Bodybuilding Champion, MD Photogapher nothing more .... oh yeah and a good family man. < the only reason why he would take advantage of people's belief in the champ he use too be was to pay the bills>

TRUE  F*&%ING STORY

Hardbody/Flex have taken the steps to remove some videos of the O from youtube. On Victor's routine link it says.....

"This video has been removed at the request of copyright owner SportsIplay.com because its content was used without permission"

[SportsIplay.com is on the frontpage on the HBE site I assume they are conjoined]

I understand they have the right to remove the material, but perhaps while they are surfing around youtube, emailing youtube etc...they could also address the complaints online.

Did anyone notice those stupid bimbos interviewing people. they didn't even know who was who. on top of that the idiot blonde is interviewing troy alves and a couple of other guys after they are anounced as places 16-21 and she asks them "which one of you is going to win?". that doesn't have anything to do with Flex but just goes to show you how poor a presentation the Olympia is.
