come on man i think so jay beat him fair and square.being a die hard coleman fan i am still shocked that ronnie lost...but this time it is more believeable that jay won fair and square..jays back was better than colemans..so what more do you want???

oh, i'm glad cutler won. couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. coleman sure didn't deserve 9 of em.

I just don't think the standard used tonight to knock off a champ hasn't been used since 1980. Know what I mean? ;)

Post by: honest on October 01, 2006, 12:09:50 AM: based on tonights decision Jay would probably have beaten ronnie two other times over the years, i dont believe Jay was at his all time best tonight, Ronnie was off, but ive seen him i believe worse and hes still won, if they were going for the shape factor and not Mass should Jay have won, i believe his overall shape is suffering with all the added mass, Dextor i believe could feel a little confused at the moment.

Rob be honest. You know Cutler won. You also know this is really bad for the pdi. You know the pdi needed Ronnie to win over a more deserving Cutler. The show was not fixed. There was no polotics. Ronnie showed up looking bad and got exposed. You constantly used to bag on Ronnie. Now this?

I like the Pdi and I hope it succeeds. But to claim they where threatened enough by it to change the O placings is laughable. The pdi has had like one show with one mid level pro in it. I hope it works out for Wayne but when Jay won he got a standing O. No boos. Everyone knew it was his. he just looked better.

but his back lacks the detail and symmetry of Ronnie (99), Ray and Flex.

All I am saying is his back is still not that great.

but it was "good enough" and I guess that is all the matters :-\

Jay does not have a back that is on par with Shawn, Flex, Ronnie, Yates etc etc.

Just because it was better than a soft torn up Ronnie does not in any way make his back spectacular..

Ok I agree.They have more detail. But they are skinny and narrow too.

Hell, David Henry's rear double bi beats Jay's last night, in my opinion. His rear poses drew roars from the crowd...it was SICK.
As far as the past,
Samir Bannout
Lee Haney
Shawn Ray
Flex Wheeler
Dorian Yates
and several others including some competing last night have had more impressive back development than what Jay showed last night.

If he's your hero, that's fine. But that isn't the greatest back in history. Not by a long shot.

Don't be a chump. The back Cutler beat on ronnie was a feeble shadow of its former self. Cutler's back is like a big water mess still. Insanely wide and thick, which is awesome, but pretty much no detail.
