I was reading one of the other posts about what standard Jay sets as the new O and I personally don't think he sets any new standards over what we have already seen.
Do you think anyone in the history of BBing will ever push the boundaries of shapely mass and freakiness as far as Ronnie has? Are the IFBB now forced to take a new direction seeing as how no one comes close to Ronnie at 100%? Over the past 20 years or so every consecutive Mr O has come in bigger and more freaky. I am kinda sad to see this change now....I don't think a person can physically carry much more muscle than Ronnie!
Also can you see anyone in the future getting as freaky as Ronnie has been on the Olympia stage?

interesting point.
the only thing i see jay bringing is mass with dryness. he isnt the hardess but comes in pretty dry.
coleman's main thing was mass with shape/asethetics. he came in huge the last few years, but with better competition, he would have to come been in better shape.

You can only put so much muscle on a frame before it looks blocky and muscle separation is lost. I don't think you can get much more muscle on a frame than ronnie did, and even if you could, it would start looking worse...as ronnie started to.
Jay won because he was dry, nearly the same size as coleman and had better separation in his back and legs. Plus ronnie looks like he was battling some injuries.

Yeah he has put getting burnt up on a new level. Cutler just beat Ronnie Coleman thats all. He didnt set a new standard just settled a grudge. Ronnie will win one of the three GPs' over Cutler. Maybe 2 out of three because one or two of the judging will not let mr.o get defeated.

I think the ronnie freak size has seen its day. The more marketable streamline physique is the future.
