Renzo is badass.  Find "Fight Day" online or on some Mark Kerr documentary DVD's.  Watching him roll is amazing...

Renzo was really bad ass at competitive jiu jitsu, but it never really transferred over to MMA.  His win over Pat really doesen't answer any questions or add any clarity to his current status as an MMA fighter.

good answer! He always appeared to me as the most aggressive Gracie - as if he has a chip on his shoulder. If i recall he actually stood on someones head after the fight when the ref raised his hand in victory (???). As excellent at jujitsu as he is, he hasnt been able to adapt to MMA's top level. You'll see by his record that whenever he steps up against a class fighter he loses - hes not even close to Royce or Rickson in terms of ability.

Renzo is a badass mofo, despite his spotty mma record. Like someone else said, he seems very aggressive in his mma fights. He's the first BJJ teacher I trained under at his school in NYC.
