Looks go away with age anyway and I guess it depends on how good you look in the first place when you are young. As long as your health doesn't erode to much, fuck it.

yea exactly its one thing to debate whether muscle is atractive but when you add thing like acromeglay to the mix that is definatly to far im not being vain but im not bad looking but when i get too heavy i just detracts and looks stupid

Well - good question.  I guess I lift to enhance my looks (not sacrifice them) - I'm saying I look better with muscle than just a skinny guy with a runner build.  I think looks are sacrificed when a person pushes themselves beyond the edge of the accepted norn (which would be a football player size I guess).  Once you are as big as a pro athlete, but have like zilch bodyfat - looks have officially been sacrificed.  (Man, this is a tough thing to explain in words).

I can see what your saying. It depends on your body type as well. A larger framed person is genitically built to carry more weight and it won't look as bad. 5lbs on a 6'4" guy and 5lbs on a 5'4" guy is a big difference.

Oh and I guess when you bulk up it's a little hard to run a couple of miles or even walk up stairs but hey like most Pros say I don't do it for health.Only the smart ones do.IMO.
