Title: Steelers' Joey Porter: Self-owning of epic proportions
Post by: Tre on December 13, 2006, 08:31:44 AM

I don't like Kellen Winslow, Jr. because he's an idiot.

But you've gotta love the irony of Joey Porter calling Winslow a 'fag'...while inserting his earrings:

"...and we let 'em off the hook!"

I have yet to recover from the part where he cold-cocks the mic.

From that day forward Dennis Green became the poster child for "How to Melt Yourself Down and Get Your Self Fired" for everyone.  The only thing he didn't do is jump in his car and run some reporters over for provoking him.

That "Playoffs" rant is clearly one of the best ever.  Jim Mora was always great for a quality soundbite.

AI could be on the move:

f**k Porter. "The most feared man in the NFL". Don't make me laugh. Nobody fears anybody in the NFL let alone him.

If you're good enough to make the NFL, you don't get there by fearing ANYONE. Period. Bottom line. End of story. Just shows you how Sports Illustrated is clueless and how bad they need cover stories.

That dude gets on my nerves because he thinks he's such a bad ass and he can intimidate anyone. WHo was intimidating when my Ravens shut him down 27-0 a few weeks back? Especially when Ogden put him right on his back during a block? What a glorious day that was. Not a goddamn peep out of any Steelers fans anywhere in my section. The fans were waving white towels instead of those yellow snot rags.

Sorry Earl. 2006 is the Ravens year. It's not very nice being on the shitty side of the fence this year like the Ravens were last year, is it??

You are full of shit. Joey Porter would crush your face. You are some skinny little schmoe, who takes pictures of "women" who look like trannys for a living. The irony of you implying someone is not masculine is hilarious!! Aahahahaha. You would not say a single disrespectful word to that mans face, lol. If you knew there was a chance Joey would beat your ass, you would say nothing.

Btw, If earring's are for girls, someone needs to remind you that shemales are for fags :-*

I could give a shit if a guy wears earring's or not. The guy is a great football player and would kick your face in. You talk a big talk, but the proof is in the pudding pal. Somehow the pictures you posted of yourself would not lead one to believe you would be standing in front Joey Porter talking shit.

You said in your post people are allowed to "like that they like". Which contradicts your statement that earrings are for girls only. Hell you like chicks that look like dudes.

As for being a kid, I think 25 is a reasonable age. I don't play in sandbox's tough guy. But, if you need one for one of your latest tranny photoshoots, I hear you can pick one up at toys r us cheap.

It is funny that some people think Cowher is going to NC State. Dude is a multi-millionaire and Superbowl winner and people think he is excited to coach NC State. I guess he attended State years ago but I just don't think we'll be seeing "The Jaw" in Raleigh anytime soon.

If I'm not mistaken, he played linebacker at NC State and his family just bought a house down in North Carolina last year. He'll be there eventually. He's pretty much said he wants to coach there eventually. I could care less, lets go G-Men!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Any what excuses are those? They didn't have any major injuries during the season. They have played like shit this year, bottom line.

Bro, if they hadn't cheap shoted Carson palmer in the playoffs last year, the Steelers would have lost that game, plain and simple. And in your heart of hearts, you know I'm right. I would love my team to face any opponent that has Jon Kitna as the starting QB in the playoffs. They began to peak after that game and got on a run and were handed the title on a silver platter by the refs in the Superbowl.

lastly, from a Football starved town like Baltimore, who had to wait 15 years to get a team and won their first Super Bowl title as a franchise within the first five years of existence, you got some nerve popping off at the mouth since it took the Steelers how long? 26 YEARS to get in the winner's circle again???

Not necessarily. Why is Matt Millen still in charge of the Lions? Sometimes ownership just likes an individual and keeps him on. There were years when Cowher could have been fired but wasn't. Longevity of that magnitude has more to do with the individuals relationships with the people in charge than it does with actual on field performance.

I understand where you're coming from but my point of contention is that Cowher is an excellent coach. If Billick was fired from the Ravens and Cowher was available, I would want him as my head coach.

since you are a Levroneite I will take it easy on you ;)

no major injuries?  how about ben's motorcycle accident, the doctor's say they think his int's may be a side effect, also his appendectomy which caused him to lose strenght, and his concussion against atlanta which fucked up his head more

troy has been battling injuries all season and has missed the last two games

hahaha yeah every steeler hater thinks that carson would've beaten us and they think that kimo cheapshoted him, even though kimo was crying right after it happened ::)

the hit was clean and happens all the time, the refs didn't start calling it until after that innocent play

handed the title hahahahahahahaha :D

please tell me how they were handed the title I always love to hear the ridiculous claims by you stupid haters :D

oh and that team called the ravens is just the cleveland browns in a different uniform and town so there goes your "we won the superbowl the first 5 years of existence" argument ::)

5 superbowls > 1 super bowl

keep gloating about one win, what you do in the playoffs is what counts and the steelers have been owning the baltimore browns since their existence and that will continue until the end of time 8)

I've seen enough to know that they're pretty fucking bad this year. At least when the scumbag Patriots were winning Super Bowls they could at least defend it somewhat next year. The Steelers are too busy popping their mouthes off while getting smacked around to do anything that remotely resembles winning.

who has had a better 2 month run in the last 2 seasons?

don't forget they went 15-1 in the 2004 season oh wait you would have to actually watch football to know that ::)

15-1 got them where? The Colts have had the greatest 2 opening runs to a season ever and they still can't win a Super Bowl. Face it, Pittsburgh is nothing more than a mediocre team that won't be getting anywhere near a Super Bowl for a good long time. Oh yeah, your little meltdown of claiming someone doesn't watch or know anything anytime someone disagrees with you is kind of played out. Learn to deal with criticism instead of melting down like a 3 year old girl.

why won't they get anywhere near the super bowl again?  what makes any other team have a better chance in the coming years?

Oh brother, do you know anything outside of the Steelers? You've proven your complete and utter lack of football knowledge by bragging about a 15-1 record that got them nowhere. They have no chance because they have nothing even resembling a Super Bowl caliber team. A quarterback who can't throw the ball witout it being an interception, a mediocre defense and players who are too busy talking shit and losing games to do anything worthwhile. Get over it, they aren't good and their glory is already gone.

You might as well stick to acting like you know something about MMA, because this is even more laughable.

Earl, how often do division rivals play in the playoffs? That is a useless statement. Even as a Steelers fan, you have to admit that the Ravens always play them good and have beaten them more than the Steelers have beaten the Ravens since Billick has been their coach. If you're not willing to at least admit that then I will continue to hate your fucking guts even if we both do have Levrone's back.

since you are a Levroneite I will take it easy on you ;)

no major injuries?  how about ben's motorcycle accident, the doctor's say they think his int's may be a side effect, also his appendectomy which caused him to lose strenght, and his concussion against atlanta which fucked up his head more

troy has been battling injuries all season and has missed the last two games

hahaha yeah every steeler hater thinks that carson would've beaten us and they think that kimo cheapshoted him, even though kimo was crying right after it happened ::)

the hit was clean and happens all the time, the refs didn't start calling it until after that innocent play

handed the title hahahahahahahaha :D

please tell me how they were handed the title I always love to hear the ridiculous claims by you stupid haters :D

oh and that team called the ravens is just the cleveland browns in a different uniform and town so there goes your "we won the superbowl the first 5 years of existence" argument ::)

5 superbowls > 1 super bowl

keep gloating about one win, what you do in the playoffs is what counts and the steelers have been owning the baltimore browns since their existence and that will continue until the end of time 8)

Those types of hits are illegal now in the NFL. It was a dirty play, plain and simple. Don't give me that shit about Kimo crying afterwards. Where do you get your fucking information? That has to be the gayest thing I have ever seen you post.

Earl, I again beg you to look up the head to head records between the Ravens and Browns since 1996 before you make such a stupid fucking statement like that again. Despite everyone's opinion on Ray Lewis, the bottom line is this. He didn't f**k kill anybody. Get over it. That incident was over 6 1/2 years ago!!!!

Like most young NFL players, he walked around with an entourge of punk ass croonies during his first few years in the league. It obviously got him into a lot of trouble and he learned from his mistakes and he doesn't associate with pieces of shit like that anymore. He wrongfully obstructed justice which led to no convictions of the accussed killers. He fucked up. He was a piece of shit for doing it. He was given a second chance and he has cleaned up his life as a result. Again, get the f**k over it!

The man is 31 years old and still playing at a high level. He is involved with numerous charities around the Baltimore area and makes frequent appearances for those charities and donates thousands on a yearly basis.

All of you Steeler guys holler at me when Joey P has an NFL resume anywhere close to Ray's as far as individual awards go.

They definitely had extra (striped) players on the field during the Super Bowl, but I think the Palmer injury was just a fluke.  Cincy would've won the game, but they suffered the worst luck possible.

What link? The guy interviewed on TV talking about. What have you owned? I'm not a Ravens fan nor do I care about Ray Lewis, an overhyped, aging linebacker. You really need to learn what constitutes an owning, Mr. Levrone guy.

there would be a link claiming that ray ratted out his boys and they are in jail

you are owned (again ::)) until you prove otherwise

no major injuries?  how about ben's motorcycle accident, the doctor's say they think his int's may be a side effect, also his appendectomy which caused him to lose strenght, and his concussion against atlanta which fucked up his head more

I blame Cowher for allowing Ben back into action too soon.

Charlie Batch was doing fine.

I've worked for the Ravens national publicist affialite for the last 6 years. No such incident occurred. I would have known about it before you did.

You've obviously done a kick-ass job, because almost no one in the media is willing to say that Ray Lewis got away with murder or obstruction of justice.

Yet these same people crucify Terrell Owens for throwing himself a birthday party.

It happened 6 years ago and the interview was at least 3 years ago, why would I go out of my way to search for it? I told you I don't care about it. The day someone who sniffs Levrone's posing trunks owns me......HAHAHAHAHA. Stick to jerking off to highlights of last years Super Bowl because you won't be seeing one for a while.

Give up what? You're arguing over whether Ray Lewis is a murderer when everyone else in the car was a suspect but him.  ::)

Are you really that upset by the fact I proved why the Steeler's are nothing more than a fluke Super Bowl team? I'm sorry that they're fading right back into obscurity and embarassing that franchise with this year's super bowl defense. It's embarassing actually. Listening to someone like Joey Porter and Heinz Ward calling out Peyton Manning while being one of the worst teams in the AFC is laughable.

Actually seman breath my uncle is on the grounds crew for Heinz field and saw the scuffle first hand,  VonOlhoff and Kreider both ran on the bus to  help break up the scrap since their were only a few guys on it.
Like I said piss mop this year has been a waste for the Steelers but over all as a dynasty the Raven/Browns cant hold a candle to their ass. go drop another tear in your beer

Seman breath. That was pretty funny. But you're still an asshole. i never said the confrontation never occurred. But there were no blows exchanged. None, whatsoever. First off, Porter never made it on the bus. Why would anyone allow Joey Porter on a Ravens team bus, you fucking mongloid? All that happened was Porter yelling shit at Lewis through the window to get off the bus and step up to him. Ray was all about it but was restrained by Mike Singletary, Gary Baxter, and Suggs.
Your fucking uncle has no idea what he's talking about. Still him to stick to what he knows best and that's planting sod at Heinz field. Why would a member of the grounds crew be anywhere near an opposing team's bus you fuggin idiot. I was standing 30 feet away handling the PR assignments for the team when it happended.

I would put them up against the 2000 ravens, 2002 bucs, 99 rams any day of the week

what is your point anyways?  would you rather your team be known as the best team to not win the super bowl or the worst to win?

just another dime a dozen steeler hater ::)

last years team will go down in history as the team that made the greatest playoff run IN ANY SPORT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the first 6 seed to make the conference championship game, let alone make the super bowl and win it 8)

mcnair is on the downside of his career he won't be around for long

i never understood why almost every team was gushing over boller before he was drafted

average college qb at best

I guess when you can kneel at the 50 yard line and throw the ball threw the goal posts that is worth about 20 million :-\

Beg to differ my friend. I am a season ticket holder and I think Mcnair's playing at a very high level. He has been the MVP of that team without question. How you can argue that is beyond me. my team is 10-3. What's your record?

he is not the league mvp he was 3 years ago

your team is 10-3 because my qb had shit luck all year
