Title: Knee Injury
Post by: RancherRanger on January 15, 2007, 07:04:22 AM
About 6 weeks ago I joined a gym to learn ground fighting.  Last week my knee popped out of place.  I hurt it when I was younger playing football and it's happened before, but I've never experienced any pain.  Last week my knee popped out of place 5 times and it hurts pretty dang bad.  I've put ice on it a couple of times, should I be using heat instead?  There isn't really any swelling, just soreness.  My leg can still bend and I can stretch somewhat, but not near as well as I'd like.  Any suggestions minus a docs appointment?  I don't mind seeing the doc but I wanna try some suggestions along with some time off first.

doctors appointment should be the only advice you need.  You should also take it, f*ck this one up and you might never be able to walk without a limp again!

Good luck btw

Yeah,
Regardless of what anyone writes here relating some similar symptoms or experience...
Get a PROFESSIONAL medical person to look at YOUR knee.

Have known several MMA guys over the years.
Like weight lifting, injuries are inevitable.

Best of luck!  :)
