Johan Cruijff - Was one of the best soccer player evers. His best stuff is in dutch so it's hard to translate it.

Actually I never make a mistake, because it takes a huge effort for me to make a mistake.

Soccer is simple, but it is difficult to play simple.

Sometimes something's got to happen before something is going to happen.

Italians can't win the game against you, but you can lose the game against the Italians.

"I don't want to be a thief of my own wallet" on moving from Ajax Amsterdam to Barcelona.

Theismann's one of the best analysts, there aren't many good ones. Almost all of today's announcers are useless whereas he adds a lot. However, this is a classic from long ago:

"You don't have to be a genius, someone like John Einstein, to understand football."

I think maybe his dad appreciates it more. Being the son of a Hall of Famer and playing th same position at the university might make you a bit ungrateful.

What do you mean a waste of talent? Didn't he have a breakout year this year? He caught over 80 balls this year. Last time I checked, that's a pretty good year for an NFL tight end these days.......and he's only 23???

He's also currently and NFL player, playing in the league. Outside of that stupid knee injury he had on that motorcycle, my question is what is he currently wasting?

OK, I'm overcontributing to this topic.  Big deal, it's fun.

He is always making DUMB comments. Maybe even more than T.O. He has never taken the game seriously. This year he caught 89 balls for a lousy team who's offense centered around him. He acts like he has a handful of Superbowl rings.
