Who came 2nd at '68 Olympia?
-
In 1967, Sergio Oliva (commonly known as "The Myth") won the third Mr. Olympia contest in overpowering fashion. People wondered how much better Sergio could get. But better he was! In fact, he was so much better that he won the 1968 Mr. Olympia unopposed. You know true greatness when no one dares to challenge.(IFBB.com)

Yeah, it was '71. Click on the link below and he was the only competitor. Also, click on the Related Articles link and there's a great article that mentions Sergio being banned from the '71 show.

The original story was that when the condition Arnold was in was known, everyone entered the Nabba Universe instead. No mention of Oliva's disqualification, oviously ::).
What actually transpired, apparently, is Weider knew of Sergio's other federation exploits, but was cool with it, till he saw the package he brought onstage putting the golden boy(Arnie) in 2nd place. Then the rules were enforced, in the process in order to make it sick, Franco and Callender suffered.
Thats another show that was fixed for Arnold, he deserved 4 or 5 of the 7 Sandows.
This is tipycal ifbb, very reminiscent of a recent contestant failing a diuretics test and having placing reinstated upon threatening lawsuit.

While these pictures are NOT from the 1968 Mr Olympia, they are however from the year 1968 where SERGIO appeared as a Guess poser @ the Mr America, the Myth was in Fantastic shape!
