What about Beckham?  There's a docutvshow on about him now. 

He looks old and talks funny if you ask me.

Used to be a great player, I won't deny that.  Coupla good free kicks




the tv show just ended.  10pm London BBC.  He said he's got a new tat which says "new beginnings".   Pile of promo $m bullshit.

But we Brits have always been a bit too demanding of our sportsmen.


Thick as a plank (unless he's 100% fit in which case he's genius) and dead strange funny looking - and his mad wife - but he was a great footie player, long ago, before he began getting $1m a week and taking a knock on the toe or ankle every other time he put in an appearance. 

Maybe he never learned the sidestep dance and just decided to move to LalaLand instead.

I can't stand the way they flop around in soccer.

What kind of "man" flops to the turf without getting hit, is placed on a stretcher, and then sprints back in at full speed once they get to the sideline?

They make Vlade Divac look like Jack Lambert.

Here here !! I remember a few years ago when the Rugby league and Rugby Union champions in England played each other, half of the game in one code and half of the game in the other (Wigan bashed Bath). Imagine these football guys playing half a game of league - most of them wouldnt even appear for the 2nd half for there own game !!
