I WANT TO DROP SOME WEIGHT IN A SHORT TIME WHAT DO I NEED TO DO. IM FLOating around 265 and would like to drop 30 lbs please help

What's your body fat percentage like? Is any of that 265 actually muscle?

Have you tried cutting the unnecessary calories, like pancakes, sweets, ice cream, eating out, etc?
Then up the cardio to at least one hour a day. That's a start!

im down to chicken and fish rice and cold cereals. water milk with dinner
I havent seen my abs in along while and I made a bet that i could get back into the same shape I was 2 years ago. I need help

Do you do any weight training at all? Bodybuilding? Taking any steroids? etc

not anymore Ive been so stressed ive done nothing but eat get fat and complain about it. Its been the better part of a year since i lifted anything other than the fork

Fine... how about a brisk 45-minute walk every morning before breakfast, then another 45-minute to 90-minute brisk walk/job in the evenings?

Be patient. Don't let yourself get full from eating. Always stay a bit hungry. Double the amount of water you drink. Every time you drink a glass, make sure you drink another one. Fish, a handful of nuts, broil some sirloin, steam some veggies, a cpl pieces of fruit with breakfast.
It ain't rocket science.

thanks thats the way i like it. simple. Ive always tried to gain size and that wasnt hard for me on my last cycle I hit 285 easily. I lost alot of it i guess it was water retention. Now Im more concerned with being fit and lean.

no doubt I was the horse. I was always lean but after a broken leg and loads of down time Ive gained weight. Now I just want to lose it. Ive never been over 14% in my life and i never tried to lose weight before never had too

Since you haven't done anything all you need to do is do SOMETHING. Seriously, something....ANYTHING. Walk, run, lift, job, bike swim...whatever. Then just drop the calories, not too much so you don't crash, just a range you can handle, maybe 2500kcals?

only eat complex carbs (whole grains like oatmeal and brown or wild rice) and keep them before 2pm or so.
lean meats (skinless chicken, beefloin porkloin, or fish), cruciferous veggies (spinach, cauliflower, broccoli)
1 gr of protein per lb of body weight per day
no soda or alcohol
cardio your ass off

cardio morning and night. 45 mins,moderate intensity. do the morning cardio on an empty stomach(or if you have fat burners, take them a half hour before you do the cardio.) calories in vs. calories out is the only way to lose weight..but the calories you consume do matter. you need a good portion of calories from protein to maintain your muscle mass and metabolism while you diet. (muscle = resting metabolism rate) also you need like 100 to 150 grams of carbs...try not to take in ANY fats..just supplement with fatty acid pills.

Smaller meals with 10% less calories in a given day than normal
Cardio in the AM on an empty stomach.....PM me for some specific advices
More intense lifting sessions.

Some updates. Since I made this thread back in august ive actually gained weight im back up to 285 I dont know what the fuck Im doing cant seem to focus and Ive been plagued with family trouble. Im setting up a home gym in my basement complete with treadmills and rowing machines. Im still hoping to get down to 240@10% wish me luck

Yes, he's correct. It's easy to overlook this and concentrate on the training. I've followed his advice and am losing weight right now. If I don't wear a belt, my pants end up on my hips.
