I've got 3 Favorites ... 2 more " Dark Horses " that are added the the 1 " Dark Horse " I already had in a previous Thread ... they are as follows :
Toney Freeman : My Original Dark Horse. The only problem I see with Toney is the fact that he is still holding QUITE A BIT of Water ... and I do mean QUITE A BIT OF WATER ... hopefully, come Finals Tomorrow, he will have made a DRASTIC change to his physique as far as the extra Water is concerned. Time will certainly tell ! ;) Toney has some OUTSTANDING Bodyparts for a Taller Bodybuilder, but if there's one thing that really stood out last Night, unfortunately, it was his Pec Tear ... it really made his physique look odd in a way ... at least from the front, obviously. Because Toney HAS A BACK it was no problem for him to turn around and show THAT off in order to distract away from his Chest. If there's something Toney is great at, it's his Posing abilities. At any rate, I'd really like to see him come in a bit fuller and tighter Tomorrow Night. I don't think he'll dissapoint. :)
Dennis Wolf : What can't you say positively about Dennis Wolf ?? He looks ABSOLUTELY amazing !! On top of that, Dennis Wolf was pushed very hard ( not only in this Forum, but in many others as well including VARIOUS Magazines ! ) to do very well in this Mr. Olympia Contest ... well, I along with MANY OTHERS, are happy to say that he DELIVERED and then some ! Where to start ... CRAZY CONDITIONING from HEAD TO TOE ! I was a bit dissapointed when he wasn't in the First Callouts, however, he was eventually compared to Coleman ... which REALLY told me something ! There's really not much Wolf can do drastically between now and the Finals Show ... he just simply doesn't need to ! He could come in a tad bit fuller, though. That's it. As far as Bodyparts are concerned, his Back REALLY stands out and looks AMAZING for having such high insertions which he seems to have made HUGE improvements on. Obviously, the only thing he lacks ( in my Opinion ) is Bicep Peak and Calves. That's it ! I don't see Wolf Winning the Olympia this year ... but it's DEFINITELY a possibility next year ! Again, in my honest opinion, I see Wolf in the Top 8 right now ... EASY !
Silvio Samuel : I'ts obvious his Training with Charles Glass is paying off ... he his as DENSE AS A BRICK but ISN'T shaped like one ( are you listening Cutler ;) ) ! Silvio looks GREAT from the front and back ... on top of that, he's balanced and WELL CONDITIONED for this show. My only gripe ( and I only have 1 ) is the amount of Water he's holding ... if he can get rid of that, he'll be in the Top 10 for sure !! He's got it all ... what impresses me the most about Silvio is that fact that he can hold ALL that Mass on his Body and STILL have a AMAZING V-Taper to go with it ... again, his Balance is AMAZING and his Physique is very polished ! Good luck, Silvio !!
Just a few more things to say here real quick ... judging by the Callouts, I'd say Vic is DEFINITELY in the Top 3. The Judges have had their Eyes on him now for a long time do DON'T be surprised if he takes the whole damn thing. Cutler looks smooth and soft to me. He's got Mass ... there's no doubting that, but he's very blocky ... very blocky. I think IF he Wins Tomorrow Night, it'll only be because he Won last year ... unless he comes in CRAZY SHREDDED ! Time will certainly tell ... don't forget, though ... there are some Politics in Bodybuilding as well ... if you take THAT into account then you can see why I have Jay Winning. Ronnie, Ronnie ... I was hoping he'd come in and DESTROY everyone, but that is NOT that case. He's Conditioned, yet NO WHERE near where he has been or needs to be. His balance is off as well ... his left side does NOT match his right as Charles Glass pointed it out. His physique looks very odd to me ... very odd. Sad, really, because I really wanted him to get his 9th Sandow. I can't wait to see what he looks like at the Finals though.
Well, that concludes my thoughts and opinions ... here's my Top 10 Prediction :
