Thanks, but I think we're good to go now. 

It concerned a misrepresentation from my agent that would've potentially cost me several thousand dollars.  According to the attorney (based on California law), the seller had performed according to contract, so they would've been entitled to the entire deposit.  I have a solid case, but my only remedy would've been to file an action against my realtor...which I would've won, so that is why the realtor came back and agreed to cover the shortage after all (less $400).

I love it when a good plan comes together. :)

I hope you didn't misunderstand my statement to mean I knew anything at all about real estate.

I live in my parent's house.  So technically, I live in real estate.  Although I don't know shit about it.
