Does Jeff Conaway live off of residuals? He should probably distance himself from Vikki at least for the time being. It seems she doesn't want him well :-\ I wonder if she has her own job?

Her bringing in the alcohol was so ridiculous that it made me wonder if it was staged.

What were your thoughts on Dr Drew's "elephant in the room" steroid comments re: Chyna Doll and then immediately talking about Crystal Meth? Is he saying she's used/uses them both?

Daniel: he seemed to want the cameras off "for at least 5 minutes." I wonder why? We already heard him telling Mary to erase his texts.

I was surprised at how gracefully Mary danced. She was good!

I don't know if the alcohol was staged, but if you saw the previews she says in front of everyone that Jeff told her to bring it. He says he didn't but she replies that he did so that she would get bombed and they would see she needed help and then she could be there with him. Maybe before he went in he said something? I think he said he was joking when he said it? Unbeknownst to him.... loloz

I forgot about the Chyna elephant. Yeah, she never did steroids. ::) I think he was putting it out there instead of accusing her, but she denied it. Just like she has said she doesn't think she has a problem. So why is she there?

Yes Mary was a good ballerina! You saw all those pics and stuff she had won. I think it really meant a lot to her that he set that up for her to go do.

Daniels pregnant wife is going to see this (when did this finish taping?) and be pissed!!! :o

edit: It was filmed last August. Maybe Jeff has stayed sober since he has credits for 2008?

Vickki looks like she is riding the Jeff Conway train to the easy life and could care less if he is sober or not. She is a crazy looking bitch, I seen on an extended preview of next weeks show that Jeff told her to get totally pastered so she would have to stay, but he was being sarcastic.

Chyna needs to stop acting like she just wants to be on TV alaready, this bitch is a poly drug user....not just an alcholic or a pill popper but both...I dont think she is bad though and may be really crazy. And she did take steroids.

I really thought it would be alot more brutal but it looks like its not that hard.

Daniel is a real scumbag too lol, I bet Mary was flirting over time on the low though.

The UFC guy seems like he has a good head on his shoulder but is sooo defensive on everything, it amazed me that Dr. Drew called him out on the molestation during the first one on one.

Bridget looks alot worse that she really should look, Jamie is just doing nothing with her 'pot' addiction,
and Seth looks like he is doing good but seems shady to me.

Daniel had his kid a few weeks ago, him and his wife have not had any trouble as far as I know. Jeff had another back surgery and is walking now and according to him(last week) he was only on "supervised" painkillers, he was with Nikki at the Ivy when they interviewed him.

She is trying to turn her life around and Daniel did take advantage of her. She could of said no, or told him not to talk to her like that, but at that point in her recovery she is not able to do that yet. He hasn't been sober though. Everyone knows he is still on probation, he has to say he is sober. I think Mary actually feels bad about his wife and that she might have been the reason Daniel left more than what happened between her and Daniel. Plus she has the others telling her how shitty it was of Daniel so she is feeding off that too.

But what's with playing up the age issue? "She just a child!" She's 27. No more child. There are plenty of 40+ men married to women in their 20s.

Yes he is and from that situation that occurred between him and Mary, one of them had to be portrayed as the villain. Now what are the producers going to do, make the chick that stays in the program the bad guy or the guy who quit? Mary was cool at breakfast about the texts Daniel sent her then as soon as he leaves she is upset about it? I think the producers were telling her to make a big deal about it so dopes like us would buy into it >:(

This was a time in thier recovery where they got weak b/c of family and being outside the clinic walls.
I knew jeff would of gone into his 'mission' mode sooner than later, and Vickki isnt fooling anyone, she is sick and needs help. Jeff really has to get 'worse' before he gets better unfortunately.
My heart goes out to Bridgette, she really wants to be sober and its apparent that she loves her children who look like 'Hanson'. Seth comes across as a very non-dramatic person, so does Rico but both were deep in the coke game and that makes a person (for lack of better words) shifty and decietful. I think that other than Jeff, they have hard demons to fight. When they should seth b4 rehab tryin to score some crack I was like damn. He obviously loaded up on Valiums and Oxys before going into rehab, then slept off two day.
When Jeff attacked Jamie (who was in a bad mood all episode), it didnt help that she would tell him that she isnt stooping to his level but not in a repetetive annoying fashion yelling at him like that.
I dont know about some of you guys but i had issues with drugs a long time ago and still harbor a healty addiction to pot and it just kinda gets to me when I see the family members cry because of the pain they gpo thru. No wonder Mary Carrey turned out that way, her mom is really sick and that must be hard.
Lasty, what was Greg brady there for and I wish Chyna would just let down the wall she has up. She talks so well with others but has yet to admit or deal with her problems.

anyways good show, doctor drew is a good person.

She said her family was as dysfunctional as they come, so you can pretty much guess what she was saying there.

It is a pity we dont have this show here yet, it sounds pretty good.

That's not enough episodes. They are not ready to get out yet. Brigette wanted to drink just last week and Jeff is still going through all the emotional stages of getting sober, one day he is happy the next he is yelling etc. I don't like them getting out so soon at all.

I am thinking they are on a 14 day program. There has been nothing mentioned of a 12 step program or whatever Dr. Drew prescribes to. He got them detoxed and introduced them to other addicts who they all pretty much knew anyway, but how is he treating their addictions? I have a feeling there is going to be a sequel.

I think the 12 step program is a given once you find yourself in a facility,I think the rehab (however many days it is) is just the foundation of gettin started on sobriety so you can make the choice of whether or not you wanna pursue sobriety......

none of these people have (seemingly) hit rock bottom yet .

that and intervention on A&E make for some interesting TV though.

if not a sequel , then I bet headlines soon enough :( Especially now that they have "bonded" and most likely options for better dealers ::)

generally when people relate storys like that with a smile on thier face, it tends to indicate they wer'nt all that traumatized at the thought of what they did......

Telling her she is strong when she is clearly telling him she is not going to be able to do this on her own (she definitely needs her hand held to get through this, for at least a little while longer) is only setting her up for failure, which ends up happening as we already know from where she ended up after the show. From what I have heard and read, it takes a lot longer than 3 weeks to fully detox from drugs and alcohol, especially for long time addicts. I also thought them filming "one-on-one" therapy sessions was pointless seeing there were cameras there and with that said...the session no longer is one-on-one. I know that I couldn't really get into the heart and soul of my problems knowing the world was watching this most private therapy session.

This show was simply that...a show, for entertainment which saddens me because all those people really do need help or they will die. Without a doubt. :'(

Ricco is just doing the "I'm a tough bastard" talk. It's all for the camera. Him and his "I'm a UFC fighter/champion" shit ::) He really rubs me the wrong way. I don't have any sympathy for him at all. He got all the boats crew in trouble jumping off that boat for the sake of some attention, not to mention all the talking the show's crew had to do to keep him outta jail. He's an idiot and I feel sorry for his girlfriend and son.

They don't mention it on the show because part of his plea (Eddie Munster lived after he got a blood transfusion so Jeff wasn't up for murder) he agreed to get help in exchange for a lesser sentence. I wonder if his leaving early will affect that? :-\

If it's real, how come there isn't any news story about the incident? I'm a pretty good 'net searcher and I couldn't find anything.

Yeah I looked around too when I posted it but didn't see anything. It just looked real and Jeff may be an actor but he isn't THAT good. He was fucked up.

that happened BEFORE celebrity rehab. Jeff hadn't decided if he was going to go to rehab until that incident and the court said he had to, so he probably figured do celeb rehab and help his career too.

So, if it made it to court, then there was a police report filed and charges pressed. There's no way a well known celebrity could shoot another well-known celeb and it not make the papers. I'm calling BS.

I recorded it, I will get to it this weekend. After Daniel left it went downhill a little and now without Jeff it's just so-so imo. Was it any good?

The first few episodes of the show were pretty intense, but it has gone downhill since. Last night's show consisted of the blonde, white trash, singer chick bitching about how she has no money. Of course, the idea of getting a job never crosses her mind.

She is on 10 a.m. on the Fox affiliate here, but it probably varies. I don't think I saw Jeff, but Jessica was talking about how she made a porno to support her habit. We know Ricco is at least doing "ok" cuz he had a fight recently but I am curious about Shifty and well, that's it. Jeff, Shifty and Ricco are the only ones I really give a fuck about tbh. Brigitte for her kids I guess too. Jamie just smokes pot, Chynna is there for attention, Jessica is still there I believe and Mary Carey, oh brother ::

I was thinking that since it is on the day after the finale that it was an update show, but it was actually a promo show that aired before the season, sorry about that. I didn't like the finale too much, it was a bit too sappy for my tastes. Plus it made it even more clear that most of them were there for reasons other than sobriety, i.e. money and exposure. I was glad that Shifty, Mary and Jessica went to sober living, but I think Dr. Drew put a little too much importance on it. 3 more months of sobriety will make it easier for them to stay sober probably, but they will still then have to deal with their real lives and the triggers that made them use. Hell, the others could have a 3 month head start on living a sober life that works for them in the real world by the time those 3 get out of sober living, although I would guess that most of them got lit up as soon as they got home. Good show overall, hopefully their is another season, but with the way they hung Daniel out to dry with his portrayal of the texting thing and the general portrayal of all them I don't know how many "celebrities" will want to be on it. Oh and one good point Dr. Drew made last night, I liked it when he said "if you had cancer you would take the time to deal with that right?". That made a lot of sense, good analogy Doc.

It was sappy , I bawled like a baby at parts so I didn't focus on the entire show very well :-[

I love Chyna , Ricco and Brigitte now along with Jeff.

Ricco turned out to be a decent guy , Chyna is just touching my soul somehow , and Brigitte seemed genuine.

I have little faith any of them will forever remain "clean" taking into consideration , lifestyle , and life in general . Not any of them seem to grasp the deeper meaning of being an addict.

A couple things I disagree on here on your comment. From knowing a couple alcoholics, it is my opinion that the longer the stay in a sober environment AWAY from the non sober environment of their present homes/lifestyles, the better chance they have at staying sober. It is unfortunate that these people will have to learn to stay away from those they considered their friends (party people) and stay away from the things they found to have been "normal" prior to going to treatment. Those who chose to not go to Sober Living most likely will have a far harder time adjusting than those who took the 3 month stay. Don't get me wrong, I believe their true intentions are to get sober and stay sober and they think they are strong enough to do it themselves but for most the disease is so much stronger than the individual.

And I'm not sure of your last comment regarding cancer was sarcastic or not (hard to tell from the quote) but I believe he's right. They aren't looking at it like the disease it is. It kills, and sometimes it not only kills the person using, but also innocent people too (ie: drunk/high driving). If they were told they had cancer, you better believe they would go do what is necessary to get themselves healthy or prolong their lives. A lot of people don't look at drug addiction or alcoholism as a disease (a deadly disease).

(Rico and Bridgette) Seth was the biggest crack head before and after the show and Seth probably had a really good time during his relapse..but who still does Ecstacy ?? hahha Mary Carrey still dances with her clothes off, that makes her a whore still. Jamie is a weed head for life (like me), , China is delusional...still needs to hit rock bottom (as they would say) before she can realize her disease, Jeff aint fooling nobody and looked like a half step away from death in the video, Jessica has some issues that may be too much to overcome, and Daniel prob. hates everyone cause it fucked up his marriage.

I thought it was a good show from start to end, i liked the cast and Dr. Drew is an awesome Dr. in his feild. Its so crazy how Jeff got the counseler dude into the 12 steps ....anyways, i hope they have another onee..i have a feeling that they will too.
