Title: My left calf
Post by: columbusdude82 on May 24, 2008, 11:53:49 AM
I trained calves earlier today, and just snapped this pic with my cell.

Sorry about the bad quality, the lack of tan, and the long toe nails lol. (They only look so long because I'm flexing my calf haha).

Huge beyond belief.

Those toenails are like talons. Did you join Team Falcon?  ;)

Thanks bro :)

Not trying to make excuses, but the tip of the nail does look white because I am pressing into the carpet while flexing my calf, if that makes sense.

Having good calves is all genetics. I'm trying to bring mine up.  :-X

Both, but I've actually had to scale back my calf training the past few months, because of cardio.

Doing all that cardio and training calves HEAVY makes them hurt, and I don't wanna risk tearing anything.

So for most of fall and winter, I trained calves every second or third week only.

dude my calves start to burn like a mother fucker just walking on a treadmill at a 7 degree incline.

lol

if i train calves hard they spasm and cramp and twitch all day long for about a week after.

so i say fuck it ..i rarely ever truly train them. ill do one heavy set, or a few pump sets once a week, thats it though

Thanks bro... yes, they do come in handy when I swoop down to catch the high-protein meals :)
