Title: Strained Bicep?
Post by: WhiteHulk4 on September 08, 2008, 08:58:49 AM
Hey Guys,

I'm quite pissed as I seem to have a new nagging injury.  It's a pain in my left bicep muscle, but it's keeping me from doing just about everything.  For example, just doing DB Bench Presses - lifting the heavy dumbbell off the floor and onto my knee - aggrivates it severely (and I actually think might have caused it in the first place).  Pull-ups and rows aggrivate it also.  Just about all upper body movements do.

Anybody have similar experiences?  What'd you do about it?

Thanks!

you strained your muscle.  keep aggravating it, and you can have your very own partial- or full-thickness tear.  Lay off it.

If you have any unexplained bulges, go see your doctor for a Diagnostic ultrasound

I strained my Bicep tendon/Ligaments 3 months ago while doing pad work in the ring, i over extended with a left hook and thought id torned my bicep with the whole bicep upper forearm area going into spasams and swelling up, i went to the physio and he told me id sprained my bicep-forearm tendons...and too not do any padwork or weights of any kind etc for the next 4 weights...didn,t listen and tryed too train around it and it got worse...so for the last 4 weeks ::)..Ive layed off all work in the ring and havn,t lifted weights at all...so far its now healing well thank fu.k...bud as hard as it is (and i know) try laying off training for a month or so and just get the physio-rehab work done, if you keep training it will never heal.
