Title: Off-season update.
Post by: King Kamali on December 04, 2008, 06:02:12 PM
I am half way through with the "clean out" phase of my program and things are still looking good. I just got back my recent blood work and all my levels are back to normal (thank God). I have pounding the Clomid so my nuts are in full gear and my sex drive has kicked in the after burners ;).. It's a very different feeling being "clean" and I have to be honest and say that it SUCKS! The biggest difference is the fullness and sustained pumps all the day long.. That shit is gone. But, I have managed to keep on the size and hardness through my 3 days on 1 day off method of dieting and the Magic Powder. I have also cut out my morning training session and just train once a day in the evening. This has boosted my energy levels and strength and has helped me add on some size. All the pills and powders are also out for now just so I can get back to normal. These pics were taken on Friday November 28 in Virginia. I went down to spend Thanksgiving with my parents and being the meathead that I am I dragged my poor brother in law to my old stomping grounds of Gold's Gym Tyson's Corner. I am 297 lbs. and just to be fair here I would say 6 pounds was from the day before... I ate like a fucking horse.. Sometimes I amaze myself. 1 more month to go before I drop the hammer.

chaos:  Sorry about the confusion.. I will clear up what I mean by CLEAN:

1. No Anabolic steroids.
2. No Androgenic steroids.
3. No insulin.
4. No GH.
5. No IGF-1
6. No stimulants.
7. No Pro-Hormones.

flexingtonsteele:  Thanks man.. But the feeling is just not there. If not for the magic powder I would be losing my mind. ;)

chaos:  Not impressive to me brother. It's 20+ years of wars in the gym so I should be right where I am. More sweeps and filling in gaps in the arms and then I will be happy... Still under construction. ;)

Rearden Metal:  Thanks.. It's near impossible to keep the stomach flat especially after eating the way I did for Thanksgiving. Milos showed me some isometric exercises to get the "vacuum" look back like the good old days. Again, under construction.

gettinhuge:  I believe I speak for Jim (aka disgusted) that the magic powder is coming soon for all to benefit... It will be worth the wait.. For fuck sake I'm clean and still improving.

michael arvilla: Since Sept. 13.. Right after the AC Pro. I feel clean but Jim kept me big.

I positivly believes he is clean  :)

he had a show not too long ago, with the rebound afterward + the post cycle therapy, it is very believable that he is clean.

when you do a show, you will understand bro  :)
Staying "big" is much easier the few months that follows a show, even if he is clean.

I think he's clean too. No reason to come on here and lie. he posted not too long ago that all he was on was clomid, so his story is following the same track.

I believe him, and if he's eating like Jim recommends u eat, its not that hard to stay lean.

I just want to see him when he finally gets back on. WOW he should be beastly  :o

it's not like he gained 10 lbs of muscle since the show
he just maintains + water + some fat

and his show was in september if I remember well
you think he would lose everything in 3 months ?
no way

now if he stays clean for another 6 months, he will probably lose some muscles but 3 months after a show you are still big even clean

if hes clean (well, on clomid).. then whats he gonna look like when he goes back on ?

you think kamali has it in him, to llook like, what he will look like if he is clean and then he goes back on ? we are talking easily over 320 lbs ... thats what hes implying.. if thats true kamali is about to have a HUGE year..

Exactly, so far, I'd say he's been as open and honest as he could possibly e, why would he lie now?

If he says he's clean, I believe him. And I'm impressed he's able to have the condition he does at that weight.

MemberX:  Strength always came easy for me. When I was a gymnast I had no problem performing the strength moves as a matter of fact in the State (Virginia) I was known as the Iron Cross guy. I could do the Iron Cross 3 different ways and hold it for a long period of time. Now mind you I don't train like a powerbuilder anymore.. That would be too dangerous and stupid at this point in my career. Here are some personal bests:

Flat Dumbbell Presses:  180's for 8
Bench Press: 585 lbs. for 6
Military Presses: 315 for 6
Squat: 700 lbs. for 3
Deadlift: 700 lbs. for 3 or 4.. I can't remember.

tbombz: I'll take your opinion as a compliment. I have not touched a drug (other than clomid) since the AC Pro. Like I stated before, just eating like a horse and magic powder.. that's it. And when I do get back "on" I don't do that much drugs in the off-season.. It's not necessary. And as far as winning the Olympia...  :-*

One final note.. I would love to be "on" but in order to improve one has to be able to get smaller in the off-season and let the body go back to normal. Staying on all the time is for wrestlers who are on TV every other night of their lives.. Not for us.

Taking advantage of the rebound and staying lean. Something that most will not do since it requires some discipline. Of course this will only last for so long. Oh, and no way will he ever see 320. What he weighs is no no importance anyway.

yeah most don't agree with this but I feel the same way.
After I have been "on" for a while, I feel the gains stops. I have to go Off for a while and then when I go back on again it works fine

triple_pickle: Well if 6 plates on each side is 585 lbs. than yes I have done it for a few reps. I did 405 lbs. for 12 on Thursday with reletavive ease.. I did a photo shoot with Ronnie, Rico, and Aaron Maddron a few years back and we were throwing around some serious weight. Ronnie was spotting me when I went to 450+ on the incline bench for 8... Next time you see Big Nasty just ask him about that shoot :-*

DonkeyKong:  I train at Premier Fitness in Nanuet NY everynight at 5:30 PM. You are more than welcome to come and join me for a training session. I would recommend coming on Tuesdays (legs) ;).. I'm sure it will be an eye opening revelation for you.

What did Ronnie do in his video, 500 for a couple?

It all depends on how you do the lift, if you have the spotter fingers under the bar ("no spot I swear, it's all you"  :D) etc. I don't think there's a pro who could rep a 585 free bar full range bench. If Ronnie or Kevin claimed a single, sure, I could believe it.

I gotta say you look really good  for off season. You're weak points don't look so weak there. Maybe you don't need to do as many chemicals as you did before? I'd bail on the synthol and insulin altogether, and keep the other ones modest. You have plenty of size, bro. Forget bodyweight, just bring the lines and shape and I'd see you top echelon easily. Just my 2 cents.

wnybodybuildingfan:  Thanks... Don't know right now but Jim and I have a master plan. So far this has been my best off-season and the first time I have used the magic powder.. NY Pro looks interesting and so does the Europa.. We shall see.

intenceman:  Agreed on everything. I know I have the size I just wanted arms and sweeps to catch up to everything else and they are getting there fast. The next time I step on an IFBB stage I will have to match/beat my all time best conditioning.. It should be fun.

NaturalWonder83:  I have a tree with lots of presents already decorating it. It's all about my baby girl and she will get anything and everything she wants.

polychronopolous:  "Grizzled"??? Thanks, I guess ??? :-\

Howard:  I surprised myself this year with the size I kept cleaning out. I dropped the weight and increased the reps and ate 8 meals daily.. and of course the magic powder... It did the trick. BUT, being on is a feeling that cannot be replaced... Full and hard even in your sleep.

no ...

a few months of clean would mean a quick reverting back to his smaller and smaller self ...

2 months clean and he is 297 ? come on now ...I actually like king but I never understood how a pro can post a pic at almost 300 lbs and try to convince me he's been clean for a few months ..

sevastase:  Again I will take your comments as a huge compliment. It's a shame that you have convinced yourself that one has to be "on" to maintain size. Since the AC Pro I have done nothing, period. My advice to you would be to try what I do for one week (meaning: 8 meals daily, training heavy and intensity, deep tissue massage, 14 hours of sleep daily, etc...) and I'm sure you will start seeing results without drugs. Now, that being said I LOVE being "on" and nothing else feels like it but as for now, sorry bud but I am clean.

wnybodybuildingfan:  Thanks... The posing comes easy for me.. I just try to have fun. The best is yet to come.. I'm thinking about bringing a major celebrity on stage with me for a crazy posing routine the next time around.. Should be interesting.

What is this "magic powder" you keep referring to?

I believe you are clean. Like Jim said, if you do it right after a contest you can maintain good size and pretty decent conditioning for an extended period. Most guys just eat like pigs after a contest and miss out on the rebound.

King its great to see you are clean right now. But you are saying you eat 8 meals in 10 hours? When do you have time to train? I hope you have a great year.

sevastase:  Again I will take your comments as a huge compliment.

EBA84:  You and the rest of the iron warriors will soon know what the magic powder is.. Disgusted is on a mission ;)

DonkeyKong:  Different kind of magic but I must admit it has been a fun ride.

sevastase:  It's easier on the Smith Machine and yes I have done that weight.. Not bragging just telling it like it was.

Ruffian:  I have learned to eat in my sleep.. It took me several years to get it right but now I am an expert in sleep eating.

I'm dead serious, King. I won't be in the states in the near future, that's for sure. If you come to europe, (maybe the FIBO?), i'll show up.  ;D

chaos:  Sorry about the confusion.. I will clear up what I mean by CLEAN:

1. No Anabolic steroids.
2. No Androgenic steroids.
3. No insulin.
4. No GH.
5. No IGF-1
6. No stimulants.
7. No Pro-Hormones.

flexingtonsteele:  Thanks man.. But the feeling is just not there. If not for the magic powder I would be losing my mind. ;)
King, since you mentioned pro-hormones, do you consider them to be "real steroids??" Many people on here say that thier not real steroids, some people say they are...whats your opinion and have you ever taken any pro-hormones?? Looking good too bro!! 8)

marcos chacon:  I hope you are healing well brother. If all goes well this time off for you should be just what the doctor ordered. You are getting a well deserved rest and your body will respond in a very positive way. Best wishes to you and stay healthy.

IrishMuscle84:  There are some pro-hormones out there that are just as powerful as the real thing so yes, I do consider them as drugs. Just to give you an example, I recommended a local figure competitor to take some "juiced" (a strong pro-hormone) and in 2 short months her voice dropped two octaves and started growing hair on her face.. Over the counter but very strong.

Thats one thing i notice when i do a pro-hormone cycle, my voice gets reallly fuckin deep. Also, what company makes "juiced"? Is there a website where i can find it at? Im all about trying new pro-hormones. Right now im taking D-DROL by 4ever-fit. Good stuff.

Yup. Id also have to say its the strongest pro-hormone out right now. I havent tried anadrol so i wouldnt know if its similiar. My other favorite pro-hormone was MASS-TABS by IDS.

yep, pretty much a steroid as well. I actually talked to a worker from IDS at the olympia this  year, and he said that hes taking steroids, and those mass tabs were as strong as anything hes ever taken in his life. And thats why they got taken off the market.

d drol looks good it has the "tren extreme" steroid in it +superdrol steroid (which i believe was made along side of anadrol..alhouhg i might be wrong)..+ pheradrol steroid..  52 mg in each capsule...60 capsules in each... so about 3 grams of steroid... could run it for a month and a half (500mg /week)..probably see good results...the "tren extreme" steoid is really awesome for kicking up workout intensity..

Hi King,

You mentioned a few times how Milos' style of training is how you will be lifting from now on (on his forum, not here) and that from that style of training, it has greatly improved your physique.

I see huge numbers you are pushing now though?
Have you gone back to heavy lifting?

Your name is still under 'Team Milos' on his forum?

iron_dawg:  Meal replacements, shakes, smoothies, Supreme Bars, etc... It's all counted as a meal

NaturalWonder83:  Been very busy brother.. I spent New Year's with my wife and daughter at my home.. I had to get my meals in and took a step forward while others took 3 steps back ;)

hairyB07:  I learned a lot from Milos and I incorporated his style into mine to make it perfect for me. I still go very heavy especially with chest, back and legs but I also add in giant sets to pump an enormous amount of blood into the muscles. It's working and my joints are thanking me for that. Still cleaning out my system and maintaining 288 lbs.

hello king
thank u for the reply!

hey i have a cool idea!
it would be cool if u went gym to gym in diff states and cities a few times a month and hosted like a day in the life w/ fans
like we could work out w/ u
go grocery shopping w/ u
go out to eat w/ u and u could show us the best things to order
run errands w/ u etc

i bet you would make lots of money doing this
and u could test it out on me and some buddies here in connecticut we could be like the first people to try out the day in life w/ ifbb superstar king kamali
so what do u think?

Yo, where can I get a hold of some of this D-Drol (Pro-Homone) stuff? Can I get it over the internet because I think that they are illegal here in Canada????

tbombz:  The point is I want to have more kids and it takes time to get my nuts back into the flow. I am still improving as we speak. another month or two and I will be straight.

wnybodybuildingfan:  I'm working with BodyRock Productions for something very special.. Coming soon.

NaturalWonder83:  Not a bad idea at all brother and I have done this before.. I have had great/smart promoters that hired me for guest posing and flew me in a day in advance to train at the local gym with some fans.. I love doing that kind of shit and it's a chance for the young guns to see how strong and intense I really am... We shall see in 2009.
