I've been to the Contra Costa a couple of times to support various gym members. It's a good event with tough competition. Good luck to all you guys and gals entering this year. See you there most likely.

I'd take ya up on that offer, Has, but I'm stuck (willingly) in Las Vegas for a while. Good luck to ya both in that great even though. Introduce yourself to a competitor by the name of Will while you're backstage. He should be doing very well this year.

I will do that, let me know what class he is doing...I have fun back stage when most are quiet and eyeing each other up. I like to have a good time and relax.

Good luck     I'm a So Cal competitor.  Only entering the OC this year and that's it.   Entry fee's and cards cost so damn much...then   the photo people and video guy wants $$$$.

How's Vegas this time of year?   My co-workers (cops) loved it out there a couple of weeks ago.  I will be there annually in July for the USA (as a spectator unless luck goes my way).

I spoke with Will on the phone this afternoon. He took 4th place in the novice LtHvys and I believe that Bret (HasBeens) won the overall, but don't count on me to be accurate until Haz comes on and gives us the low-down on his and his wife's actual placeings.

I understand that there were over 200 competitors entered this year.

I took 4th in Masters over 40, 1st in Novice light heavys, and 3rd in Open light heavys. The novice overall and open overall were won by the same Heavyweight...he looked incredible. My wife won Masters figure short, Masters figure overall, and 3rd in Open short class. It was a great show with very deep and solid competition, everyone there looked very good. I got a chance to meet Will, very good guy and has a big future in the sport. His posing routine was amazing !

Thanks for the kind words! You were great out there and it was great to meet you and your wife! I think my fiancee was sitting behind your mother, father and daughter. She was chatting with your mom. I have a lot to work on but ill come back and do it again next year!
