I had my ingrown nail in my big toe removed monday for the 3rd time !!! (I went to a private clinic this time around, at least she took the time to do it correctly even tho I had to pay for it)
I just removed the stripe that was over the toe to dip it and put the medication on it.
Holly shit guys, my toe is completely fucked up.
absolutely, horrible toe ! She cut a fuck load of skin ;D
what am I going to do if it doesn't come back.

Stav, I stuck my toe in a law mower when I was 10. Ripped off the nail, tore up my new KangaRoo tennis shoes.

My suggestion is to take up golf, you'll be the biggest and best built on dude on the course.....like me :)

To help prevent ingrown toenails cut a "V" into your toenails. ie cut in towards the middle moreso than the edges. Make it a habit.
Ingrown toenails and resultant infections must be one of the most easily avoidable ailments of the general populations.

Tell the girl you stepped on a landmine to try and save a fellow soldier when you got drafted. And offer to insert the deformed toe into whichever hole she chooses, if not all 3. It will actually work in your favor.

I didn't have to cut any skin; I wedged a little knife in the nail bed and pried it out far enough to grip.
Then I ripped the entire nail off in 2 or 3 parts.
Sure, you are left walking around with a puss-filled mess - but it grows back eventually. ;)
Open-toed sandals until it heals.

I had and 2 nails ingrown really bad for a while, worst pain I have ever been thru. Burn2live is right to prevent them cut a V shape or use the paper bag on the girl, both work well!!!

this may sound weird but it works. i get ingrown toenails alot too. one time it got really infected and the doc showed me a trick kinda like the "v" cut. get a glass slide and break in half and use the sharp edge of the glass and shave down the center of the toenail to almost paper thin. this makes the toenail flexible in the center and doesnt put pressure on the ends that dig into your skin. works like a mofo.
